Greg Howe
GREG HOWE grew up in Easton, Pennsylvania, and took his first guitar lesson when he was ten. His idol at the time was EDDIE VAN HALEN. When he was 18, he started his first band, DUKE. In 1988, he sent a tape to MIKE VARNEY at GUITAR PLAYER hoping just to get a mention in the magazine. Varney was so impressed that he signed Greg to a four-album record deal. Many years later, Greg ended up opening for his hero, Eddie Van Halen, in a Chicago concert. He released his seventh album, HYPERACUITY, in 2000.

You would, of course, need to listen to this guy to appreciate the scope of his talent, but on the CD, "UNCERTAIN TERMS," there is a short statement, "All instruments performed by Greg Howe." Incredible.

POSTSCRIPT
"At the bottom no one in life can help anyone else in life; this one experiences over and over in every conflict and every perplexity: that one is alone. That isn't as bad as it may first appear; and again it is the best thing in life that each should have everything in himself; his fate, his future, his whole expanse and world."
