Born: June 24, 1944, in Wallington, England JEFF BECK first became well-known when he replaced ERIC CLAPTON as the guitar player in THE YARDBIRDS in 1965. In 1966, Beck started his own band (with ROD STEWART on vocals) and has periodically released solo albums with various other line-ups for the last 30 years. |
