			Welcome all to the SGC's Code of Conduct (CoC) book. Here is where u will go to get all of the rules for the clan. this book will cover the following -Ranking -Ranks -Ranking Scale -Medals -Redulations -Charges -Punishments We all hope u obey the rules and that u think they are fair.

			Ranking is what makes the SGC flow. Every member no matter what rank is improtant to the clan. Every member in this clan has a voice. So far the only metals are the Win metals they are given when u get reach a specifed # of wins A win will only be recorded if: 1) You have a recored game showing you won (you only need to recorded the last 10-5 mins) 2) Another member was their 3) the loser confesses Medals are given at these ranks: -5 -15 -25 -40 -50 -60+ if u can get over 70 u will get a Bouns badge and u will be added to the Hall of fame. it will be there till the end of time lol or till they cancel this page. u only get these medals when u report in a win VS some 1 out side of this clan. Some other Metals u can get are when you are with the program(s) for a specifed # of days. Or if u do good in battle <note these are given there is no way to earn them> u may recive the Silver Sword or the Golden Sword award. i am geting the idea to make more medals. if i do they wont be earned like these they will be given for proformance ok.

	ARTICLE I All StarGate Command members are to respect one another and the other internet citizens on the wed. any member found to be "harassing" other citizens even if some 1 is in another clan. They will be brought up on charges of Conduck unbecoming of an officer, first time offenders depending on the sevarity of the offense will receive a warning from there commanding officer, repeated offences will be demoted or banned from the SGC . Like wise you will if any armada (clan) is talking wrongly about our Armada (clan). Officers are to treat each other with respect to rank and position. You WILL not start a war with ANY armada!!! You WILL report if a armada gose to war with out armada. Tou will not ask for a alliance and you will not accept a allince from another clan. If a clan asks you for a allince you WILL tell the nearest General. ARTICLE II Stargate Command will not and dose not descriminate anybody from joining. regardless of: Gender, race, religion. or other beliefs. Placement, rank promotion, position promotion, and the awarding or merit medals will be made soley on the basis of performance, work, dedication, and activity within the SGC. ARTICLE III No Person/Member may edit modify, redistridute, or in any otherway deface the SGC newsletters or manules without the express written consent of a general or the documents author. )Generals still have the right to modify the rules as they see fit BUT!! any changes must be voted on my all the Generals and CoGenerals. And it will be added as an Amendment.) ARTICLE IV Only a General is authorized to contact Internet Service Providers and other online organizations/ companies regarding SGC business in a offical capacity. Such inqures on the part of the SGC must go through a General. Of couse, any member may send independent e-mails, but they shall be recouded. This also covers, on the behalf of the SGC, those members who wish to contact other organizations. ARTICLE V All SGC officers/members will follow the chain of command when making general inquires. It is a specific hierachy to be utilized when asking questions and making comments, ideas,file submittals, ect. Members shall attemp to contact their immediat superior officer (i.e. captians or majors) and then go throught the chain of command, as appropoate (this doseny not restrict the use of the guestbook or SGC forum just e-mails to the Generals) This is not done to restict communication in the Clan, but mainly to cut down on confusing and caotic e-mail between alot of people. The Generals ALWAYS welcome independent Communitaction with a Member or Configentail problems or comments. Remember we are all here to have fun as a group. A member will Receive important fleet information from there superior officers. Improtant fleet events and communiques will be transmitted to the general, cogeneral of each unit who will let all other members below them know. Otherwise, important messages will be individually distyibuted directly by the General via e-mail, posted on the guestbook or forum, or announced at mettings. ARTICLE VI To transfer to another unit you need a file transfer reqest to the leader (The general of SG1 <JackONell>) of the SGC. even though your file transfer can and may be turned down. you can still reapply but this time it is taken to all of the generals so u can Veto the leader of SG1s answer (this can only be done once) and u have to wait 24 hours from the time u get the reply. The request MUST be in proper form as shown below. I (name here) would like to transfer to (unit#) my curent general is (generals name) the reason that i am reqesting this ttransfer is (the reason for the transfer. note: becareful on what u say) if aproved it will be sent to your current general and the 1 you want to be moved to. If turned down only u and the general of SG1 will ever know. To get a rank change send it to the same place as you do a rank request I (name here) Would like to reqest a promotion from (curent rank). I am in (your unit) my general is (generals name). i think that i deserver this protion because (reason note: becarefull of your wording) i think i should be in (rank) This will them to sent you your general <all of these must go thought the leader of SG1 to conframation> ARTICLE VII To be Considered an active member of the SGC, member must answer e-mail or write in the guestbook or forums approximaykt once a week. If communication are broken for three or more weeks that a member will be drawn up as AWOL (absent without leave) and will be removed from the SGC roster at the discresion of the general of your unit. Command rank officers those who are majors and above, are required to be active in accordance with the Positions Descrptions of the SGC manuls ARTICLE VIII Onlt those event, plotlines, missions, stories, rosters, ect. posted in the Newsletters or wedsites will be considered officially "approved" for the SGC <this clan>. No development ideas, battle plotline, [ivotal charater events or roster revisions shall be relesed to the other fleet members unless a general has approved them (this is not ment to hinder your creativity, just to prevent a flood of story submissions in the news letter). The general or cogeneral retains the right of final decisions in there matters. Any unapproved or premature posting to the organization run the risk of being with drawn . In addition, all members sudmittied plotlines or articals for considertaion must include their ID line designation (name and rank) for later referral by the reviewing Command officer. All member submittals to the SGC Newsletter and manuals become the property of the SGC. however, member internet sites and wedpages remain the property of individual Member. Althought the general or cogeneral makes every effort to cite the source and/or author of a Newsletter/Manual submission, the free unrestricted use if these submittals may be required in order the promote the armada, or to post these items freely on the internet or in negotiations with other online entites. ARTICLE IX The General or CoGeneral are the only officers who can appoint and give promotions for airman and up, they also have th permission to recute members but all new members must be reported to the general of that unit. The general is the only 1 with the permission to revise the Roster ARTICLE X No member of the SGC shall profit by, Charge money for, Solicit/advertise commercial services thought the SGC organization by ether membership, guestbook or forum posts, e-mails, newsletter or in there position/rank. This tarnishes the high ethical and professional standards for which the SGC stands. This prohibition, of course, dose not extend to any individual, non-SGC related private ventures. this dose not include links and banners for other sites on SGC related sites or newsletters. ARTICLE XI Any member of the SGC found to have violated the above will be given ONE e-mail warning by their Commanding Oficer... A second offence/violation could result in a "Court Martial" the the High Commanders of the SGC (the Generals and cogenerals of each unit) in accordance with these rules and ot code of conduct ARTICLE XII No one unit will have more power over the next. the SGC is to be governed like a democracy. All the units must vote on actions that affect the whole armada. (like starting a war or forming a allince) If 1 unit starts to get more power they will be stoped on the spot till the problem is fixed. ARTICLE XIII Any General reserves the right to change any of the rules stated. but all changes must be voted on.

	---Class I--- Contempt Any SGC officer is sibject to investigation by Internal Affairs (a counsel of the SGC generals and cogenerals), any SGC member found not to be cooperationg with its sfforts and directives will themselves be charged with a Clas I offence. Insubordination Conduct by a subordinate officer to his superior that could be constructed as mocking, improper, or in opposition to the maintenance of good order and discipline Absemt without leave (AWOL) Un authorized leave for too short a period to be considered desertion. It means not answering your e-mails, or not leaveing a message on the guest book or forum explaining why you are not active. Dereliction of duty Failur to perform the duties assigned by a superior without adequate explanation. ---Class II--- Gross Insubordination Gross Insbordination is more sever than insubordination and generaly involves a public display (i.e. on message boards or in a public room) of insubordination or disrespect. Comduct Unbecoming of an officer Any lewd or improper conduct deemed offencive and embarrassing to the SGC. for SGC's purposses, an Internet Service Provser's (isp) terms od service (tos) Violation involving something other than a message board posting (i.e. IRC or e-mail harassmean/bombion or usenet mewsgroup spamming). Impersonation an Officer Pertending to be an officer. This also incudes pertending to hold undeserved ranks, positions, or medals. Forgery Presenting for submission work which is not one's own, but which one clames to be so. This includes plagiarisn or forgery of any sort. ---Class III--- Muntiny Unlawful usurpation of the authority or command of a superior officer. Desertion Attepting to unlawfully leaves the service of the SGC. For SGC purposes, not answering one's e-mails for more than one month. Treason Performing detrimental actions against the fleet either individually ir in comcert with other online clubs or individuals. Defection Leaving the service of the SGC, normally by desertion, to join the forces of one against whom we have declared war Espionage Selling/or giving secrets of the SGC to enemy forces. Sabotage An attempt to prevent the functionion of SGC property for the gain of the enemy Abuse of power Use of a command level position to forward personal goals or vndettas. An offecer convicted of aboue of power can face immediate explsion

		In the SGC, as in life, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. this means that for every infraction there is a method of correction which relates directly to the level of the infraction. Warning(Class I) An e-mailed warning from a superior officer and/or general Reprimand(class I) An e-mailed warning which is kept on record by the commanding offcer and FC. Censure(class I) A public reprimand buring an SGC meeting. Punishment Tour(class I&II) Duty in a less favorable area or more dangerout duty. Demotion(class I&II) Loss of position. Removal(class II&III) Loss of position Incarceration(class III) A shourt suspension and temporary loss of rank. Suspension(class III) Removal from the roster for a set time and demotion Expulsion(class III) REmovel from the roster with no hope of return.
