This match was a game we won because of team work.
We played well (ish) and started the scoring with an early penalty, we kept going, were tight at the back and created chances. Everyone played there part tonight, but a special mention needs to go to Ant & James. Ant making his debut tonight did well and deserved his goal, whilst James had a very solid game and was just in the way of everything.
This was a physical match, against a team that didn't like physical contact. Everyone scored tonight (except me & Dave, but I hit the post), with a couple of decent goals from Paul and Alex.
Overall a good end to a dismal season, we won the game because everyone worked together. |
