This was a shocking match, which was hugely dictated by the weather.
With no disrespect to RBS, I feel that we should have beaten them comfortably, especially after last weeks result. We started the match badly by conceding a quick goal, but then managed to go 2- 1 up through 2 goals from Paul. I thought at this point we would run away with it. After we went into the lead, it started to snow into our faces and the pitch became unplayable. It was impossible to keep your footing, people kept slipping, falling over & generally trying to brake there legs.
When the snow finally stopped we were 5 - 2 down and had very little hope of getting anything from this game. We did eventually get it together and were fighting back, but we just ran out of time.
Overall, this was a costly 3 points which I feel we should have won. On a bizarre note, please can someone explain to me, if we lost the game, how we have moved from 5th to 4th in the league table???? |
