The Medical Clinic

The sign on the medical clinic at a church in Lima, Peru.  The clinics for the poor of Lima are often sponsored by the churches that they are next to.  It is a great outreach to the people of the city.

The outside of the clinic.

The prenatal area for checking soon to be mothers and their pre-born babies.  All in the same room as the dentist chair and the examining table.

The examining table.  On the left side is the cart of supplies for dressing changes and cleaning wounds.  (And whatever else may be needed!)

The dentist' chair at the clinic.  Dentists and other medical proffessionals in Peru come to share their services on their day off.  It is all done at low or no cost to the patient.

The Lab.  A microscope is on the side for determining the type of pathogen.  A centrifuge in in the back corner for testing blood.
