Hillsides of Lima

Lima is the capital city of Peru.  It is very industrious at the center of the city, but as we move to the outskirts, the hillsides are full of homes thrown together, families living 7-10 to a room, no sewage system and many other problems.  The hillsides are where the outreach takes place.  Here many health problems can be solved with clean drinking water and better sanitation.  Here are souls crying for the love of Jesus Christ.  Here we reach out to those in need bringing physical restoration along with spiritual cleansing, reaching out to people in the same way that Jesus did. "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.  I did not come to call the righteous but sinners."  (Matt 9:12, 13)
