Imati never got to complete his dive. He had not counted on Wufei's intervention. The raven-haired bishounen had pulled one of the swords off the wall and swung it downwards at the back of the demon's neck just as he launched himself forward. The blade buried itself between Imati's shoulder blades, right between his wings. The demon let out a scream of pain and rage, staring at the tip of the blade, which had driven right through him and was poking out his chest.
Kas'Ralin decided that this would be a good time to intervene. "Come on...we need to get out of here really fast...before he recovers!" Even as he spoke, he opened a portal and ushered them towards it.
"Recovers?" Wufei asked incredulously. "How the hell do you recover with a sword doing that to you?!"
"He isn't human, nor is he mortal. This will merely aggravate him, and its best not to be around when he's aggravated." Kas'Ralin stepped through the portal, followed closely by Wufei, Quatre, and Duo. Kas's portal opened almost directly in front of Heero and Trowa. "Time to go!" Kas' said, opening yet another portal. The five Gundam pilots followed the angel through, hearing the portal snap shut behind them in an audible manner.
Being back in their safehouse never felt so good. Duo had to bring up a point, however. "Can't he just follow us?"
Kas'Ralin nodded. "He could, but he won't. I'm going back, so he'll start hunting me down again. I do believe that you were just a lure for him to attempt to get at me. He shouldn't bother you again. And now, I have to leave, before he does come back here..."
Quatre walked over and gave the angel a hug. "Thank you for everything." He said, and Kas' gave him a shy smile.
"I'm an angel...it's my job to help out. But you're welcome. Take care of yourselves." And with that, Kas'Ralin was gone.
