| This is the section of my site that is set aside for my political columns and thoughts. In the past, it has been the source of minor controversy among peers because of some hard-hitting and brutally honest editorials. I am not a Republican or Democrat. I am an Independent. I don't believe in parties, but I do believe in common sense, and I recognize it as something sorely missing in politics since the 1800's. If you haven't registered to vote, then do it. We have the greatest freedom on Earth. Don't sit on it because you're too lazy. Since I just completed the renovation of this site, it might be a few weeks before I post new material in this section.
