February 29, 2008: Volunteers wanted for a Poetry Jam at Gregory Congregational Church of Christ (318 S. 7th St.) The Parish house is also on 7th Street (the Jam will be in the Parish house). 3-4 Volunteers are asked to read/recite African-American poetry for youngsters. Soul-food “munchies” will be provided. Let Dr. Stef know if you are interested in volunteering, she needs to let them know by February 25. Email her at richardsons@uncw.edu

March 15, 2008: Muscular Dystrophy Association Charity Event at the Cape Fear Country Club. Set-up starts at 10am and clean-up ends around midnight--anytime members can help is encouraged!!

March 29, 2008: Movie Day--matinee showing at Mayfaire Cinemas--4:05 to see "21." Email Dr. Stef to confirm ASAP!! Free Appetizers at Fox and Hound around 6:10
