Clockmail is a GNOME panel applet, it can display the time, date, mail status, and the message count. The applet is very themeable, and includes a few themes (refer to Screen Shots below).

Note (how to get it): This applet is usually maintained in the gnome-applets module of GNOME CVS.

Update (devel version available here): This is version 1.3.2, it will be merged back in to gnome-applets once the next development cycle begins. This version adds transparency capability to the applet, and includes a few new themes that take advantage of the new feature. Missing in this release is internationalization files, too much is invlolved to pull them from gnome-applets for this unstable release, since it will be going back anyway.

The current version is 1.3.2 (June 5, 2000)
