UpdatesRocket Launch HQ

This is my brand new updates page. I will put new updates on it whenever I have the time and remember to.

10/4/00: I've got all of my parts for the monopropellant rocket engine I recently started cut, drilled, filed, polished, and whatever else with the exception of the fuel tank which simply needs to be cut and given snap ring grooves. I'm waiting to go buy more JB Weld before I glue it together. I've got a 3/4" aluminum pipe snap ring rocket that will fly as basically a minimum diameter rocket that I'm working on also. It's about 10" long, and will be fueled by a new 55% zinc mix I'm trying out to attempt to get a very large flame. I finally decided PVC isn't the material for me, as end caps routinely blow off my motors. It's great for beginners, but it doesn't do much if you really want to fly rockets. The liquid bipropellant rocket is my big project I've been working on for two years now. Currently I've got the fuel tank complete with valves and everything finished, but I'm waiting for a part that adapts my paintball tank to standard fittings so I can pressurize the tank in a water test run. That's about it, I guess I'll update this when I think of it!
