A'kes looked up at his small blue dragon and sighed. "What is it now, 'Sath?" The bluerider groaned as he plopped down on his bed.
The blue's eyes whirled worriedly. I'm not really that much trouble for you, am I?
A'kes frowned. "Of course not! You're the best dragon anyone could have. I'm just a bit tired right now. What was it you wanted to ask me about?"
...Well, since I'm the best dragon you could ever have, and you love me very much...I was hoping we could stay at Starburst Weyr for a while.
"Uh huh. And would this sudden request have to do with a certain someone? Possibly with a green hide?" A'kes asked dryly.
Wow, you're starting to catch on quick. Her name is Brineth, and she's actually a green-purple. She is rising at Starburst, and only has one chaser.
A'kes sighed. "We're not going anywhere until tomorrow. I'm going to sleep." He closed his eyes pointedly, as if to end the conversation.
