There will be a "Ship Model Exposition" in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada on October 13rd ,and 14th, 2007 sponsored by the Saint John Marine Modelers Association and the New Brunswick Museum in Market Square, Saint John. This will be open to all marine modelers interested in participatng and there is no entry fee for participants. Schedule Of Events NOTE: The exact times and details are yet to be confirmed and is only a smaple of what we had last year. Friday, October 12, 2007 - Noon to 5:00 PM - Set up and Registration. Saturday, October 13, 2007 - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Registration continues in the morning. - Videos will be shown on model boating from Saint John to the West Coast of Canada. - There will be a dinner held at a local restaurant. Sunday, October 14, 2007 - 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Models will remain on display until 4:00 PM (if possible) Places Of Interest Rockwood Park - Lilly Lake and Fisher Lakes. Main sailing site of the SJMM. Saint John Cherry Brook Zoo. Reversing Falls, and the restaurant/tourist info. center there. Reversing Falls Jet Boat Ride and Harbour Tour. Some of the Oldest Churches in New Brunswick can be found in the uptown area. The Loyalist House c.1810 is just a block away from the Museum on Union St. Victorian Barbor Shop and General Store is across the street along side the old one-room school house.
