News Number One:
The Goodness of the Lord
I had a broken, wandering spirit seeking comfort and peace in my troubled mind and soul. I had heard about the Singles
Ministry and as a recent divorcee, I decided to attend the Divorce Workshop. Minister Gwen Thomas was a true inspiration.
She taught me so many things and provided scriptural background for Foundation. I got understanding of scripture like
1John 5:4-5 where it teaches that we are "victorious" and "overcomers" in Revelation 12:11. John 10:10 gave me insight on my adversary and my Defender which is Christ Jesus.
She also taught me how precious I was like 1Corinthians 7:23 states and 3:16-17 I am protected. John 16:33 enlighten me
regarding my life and Romans 8:34 encouraged me in the Lord. I was able to make a quality decision to forgive and to move forward in my life. I developed a closer walk with God and
exercised Christ like character every opportunity that presented itself. Along with my favor confessions from Pastor
Cleflo and Taffi Dollar, and the principles of prosperity, I could see things changing in my life. People say that your
financial stability and credit is greatly affected negatively by divorce but I am here to testify that Jehovah is able. Just
like 2Corinthians 9:8 states God provides. I have a new car and God blessed me to move from a studio apartment to a brand new 3bedroom/2 1/2 bath home with all the extra's. You can't tell me that God isn't AWESOME and so much more. May my
testimony encourage you to continue to stand and believe in God's word and his son Jesus who redeemed our life from
destruction Don't ever give up..and as Pastor always says. .Seek the Provider more than the provision..for provision will be
added unto you (Matthew 6:33) and most importantly...in all your getting..."Get undersanding".

Happiness...
We convince ourselvesthat life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire. The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway

OUR TRIP TO FLORIDA
Me, Karla and her two kids went to Florida last weekend on July 24-27 and we had the time of our life kicking it back and enjoying out family down there. We fished for over 5 hours on willies secluded private fishing spot. It was a memorial experience as we we attacked by mosquito's who looked bigger than flies lol. I would do it all over again though cause it gave me the get away that I needed and I really enjoyed my sister's company as well.
