When I was in college I did college radio. I did pretty much everything: play music, news, interviews, remotes, etc. One syndicated show I played was...uh...can't remember the name, but Alan Chartoff interviewed the Governor, at that time it was Mario Cuomo.

Where the hell has Mario Cuomo been? They dug him up for Hardball, but he should be more active. He should be running...for...uh...I don't know...PRESIDENT????

If you're going to compromise by promoting an "electable" Democrat, I would trust Mario Cuomo. Yes, he's done smarmy things while Governor of New York, but I heard interviews with this guy week after week for years. I would trust Mario more than Hillary, Obama & Johnny.

Mario ain't a spring chicken...he should be in there for 2008 or at least for Vice President. I'm sure there are Greens in New York who could give me 1000 times he did something political...again, I'd rather have McKinney, Cobb, Kucinich...hell, even Nader in office, but if you're forcing me to pick an established Dem...I would rather have Mario than the other corporateers.

So...follow politics? Think you have a good grasp on the issues at hand? You know not to vote for who you REALLY want because they'll never win. It's just throwing your vote away, right? How do you know? The polls say so. Or do they?

You know, it's hard to do well in the polls when you're not one of the choices. And look, it's only the people who are calling for us to completely get out of Iraq. I don't know how true the one commenter is, but one of them said that Ron Paul is being left out of the Republican polls as well.

I'm not a conspiracy guy, but....

OK, let me turn this logic around. Let's say you're right. You're vote doesn't matter - it won't change anything. Then why would you vote for who you really don't want? If you voted for a scumbag and the scumbag won, you'd feel better? Damn, I hope not.

I spent a little time tonight cleaning up the links on the Sexuality Page. It had been a while. The broken links are gone and I added a few new ones. As it's been the entire time the links on this page are explicit so if you're mentally or emotionally immature, go somewhere else.

I need to do the Music page next. That could take all night.

Let's see if I can do this post without getting too defensive. I just saw an absolutely brilliant piece on The Colbert Report. It was about that dude getting tasered in Florida (it was Florida, right?). Here's a link to the video. I'm sorry I don't have a transcript.

People's protesting is blogging. But Whitee, you say, what are you doing right now? Yes, I am blogging. And Saturday I'll be working on organizing the FOUR greens on the whole island of Maui - five if you include me. It's called, not putting your eggs in one basket.

Yes, I've encouraged people to give money to green political campaigns, but that's not enough. What is money to political campaigns used for? For advertising, bumper stickers, and really ridiculous campaign expenses. But it's really all passive. It's a tool to creating change. How many tools are in your toolbox?

Oh, and yeah...there's five freakin greens on the entire island of Maui. Good luck to me.

Wow...it must be a slow news day. Senator Clintonbagger's "health care" proposal has made national headlines. It was comparable to Obama's & Edwards'. And if you look at all of them, they're f-ing disasters. It's this kind of shit that gives real progressives a bad name.

Let's just focus on Clintonbaggers' shall we. She made sure everyone knew that this isn't "government-run" health care. Which means don't worry corporations, I'm still in your pocket. I'm your whore. She also threatens employers with fines/taxes if they don't provide health care. Hey Dumbass, that's the main thing that's holding back buisness! NO ONE in the industrialized world (possibly anywhere) makes businesses provide health care for their employees.

Government-run health care is fine...it works all over the world. Government-mandated health care will continue to drive small businesses into the ground while keeping people uninsured. Jesus!

[Note: I originally posted this on 9/11...on the podcast blog. Oops. So, pretend this was from a few days ago.]

I'll say it. No one else wants to...but I'll point out that the Emperor has no clothes.

David Petraeus is a Scumbag. It's plain and simple. If you saw his testimony in front of Congressional Committees today you are lost if you say this guy is anything but a political hack. Yeah, yeah, yeah...I don't care how many fucking pushups the guy has done after being shot (in training, by the way). He just lied to and misled Congress. AND he did the usual War Criminal thing by answering questions with talking points that had nothing to do with what was asked.

Oh...and any of you f-ers who EVER question me about my views on 9/11:

*YOUR president scheduled this Petraeus report on 9/11.
*YOUR president made no memorial speech today. I'm surprised he didn't tell us to go shopping again.

This bastard is a war criminal who should be in jail.

Oh...and I heard on a so-called liberal talk show today, from Steny Hoyer, the Democratic Majority Leader that Democrats should "keep on doing what we have been doing." Yep. He said it. How does that taste, progressives?

I'm pissed. Democrats who piss and moan about the numbers to override a veto would never put their political careers on the line for what is right. Try this on for size.
