When I was in college I did college radio. I did pretty much everything: play music, news, interviews, remotes, etc. One syndicated show I played was...uh...can't remember the name, but Alan Chartoff interviewed the Governor, at that time it was Mario Cuomo.
Where the hell has Mario Cuomo been? They dug him up for Hardball, but he should be more active. He should be running...for...uh...I don't know...PRESIDENT????
If you're going to compromise by promoting an "electable" Democrat, I would trust Mario Cuomo. Yes, he's done smarmy things while Governor of New York, but I heard interviews with this guy week after week for years. I would trust Mario more than Hillary, Obama & Johnny.
Mario ain't a spring chicken...he should be in there for 2008 or at least for Vice President. I'm sure there are Greens in New York who could give me 1000 times he did something political...again, I'd rather have McKinney, Cobb, Kucinich...hell, even Nader in office, but if you're forcing me to pick an established Dem...I would rather have Mario than the other corporateers.
