Anime|Television|Music|Internet|Movies Anime My collection is vast and extensive. I hope to never give this up. Sailor Moon I've made an extensive web page about it. That should tell you more than I ever could in words. I have all the comics (english and Japanese) single issue and graphic novel format. I have many posters, a ton of UFO Plushies, many figureens toys. etc you get the picture. I began really trying to draw by watching and mimicing this cartoon. (check out the fan art on the site) Ceres Celestial Ledgend By Yuu Watase Ceres is a great story about love, vengence, and control. Just about what every teen is thinking about. Yuu Watase is an amazing artist, with amazing story telling ability. I also enjoy Fushigi Yugi another of her works. It's beautiful and straight-up funny. Any comics she creates I will definitely read. CLAMP CLAMP is a group of 4 artists. Their collaborative artistry and captivating storytelling is what makes me keep trying to find their newest novel. I think I have at least 5 maybe7 of their different series in my collection of novels. Chobits being the one that sticks out most in my memory for beauty. Television I only get 6 channels lately, so what I get to watch is limited. Simpsons What red-blooded american doesn't love the structured randomness that is the Simpsons? I can't wait to see what they come up with for the feature film! Family Guy I thank school for making me obsessed with this one. During the breaks in classes they played episodes, and since I'm not a smoker, I hung out indoors. O love the general randomdess. It is really funny. (I'm not too into American Dad political humor is not really my thing.) Jake 2.0 This is a Sci-Fi Channel origianl Series. Who wouldn't want to interface with computers and make it do whatever you wanted, just by concentrating on the task? heck, who wants physical strength and stamina without having to workout for it? Dresden Files This is a Sci-Fi Channel origianl Series as well. Everyone watches at least 1 cop drama. Mine just so happens to include a wizard. Music Yes, I'm sure you get it by now that I'm a girl. My music choices reflect that as well, so brace yourself. Evanessence She has a round face, & straight tone.They rock, and know how to stand out. Need I say more? Christina Agulera Damn this girl can sing! I finally started listening to her new CD "Back to Basics," and I am learning it song by song. I can only hope to have an ounce of her vocal skill. Pink She is so sarcastic - I Love her - I have her first 2 CD's memorized, and Mizery is the ringtone on my cell. Olive This is a British Electronic band made up of 2 people. the guy does the electronic work, while the girl sings. they have thoughtful lyrics, and a mello sound. I got introduced to them through internet radio while at work. I heard them so much that I went out and purchased 2 of their CD's Daughtry I don't know a whole lot about the band (but I will learn.) I do remember seeing Chris' initial American Idol audition, and knew he was something special. (Plus I love bald guys) His tone is awesome, and his stage presence is mezmerizing. Internet Websites I visit almost daily. Ctrl+Alt+Delete My #1 most visited website. It's a little bit of everything: Comics, Game Info, Blogs, Art. The scarcasm is great. Another of the fun sites I got into while in school. Sinfest Another of my guilty pleasures. Very scarcastic, and the art itself is really beautiful. Totally up my alley... though, I'm still trying to figure out how old Sly is supposed to be. Neopets.com I go to this site for the virus free games. The pets are cute too. It has a little bit of something for everyone Dominic Deegan, Oracle for hire Thanks to CAD Comics for turning me on to this one. I got introduced to this when a picture of Tim- from CAD with Mookie- From Dominic Deegan in a very matirx style face kick. I started reading from that, and got hooked. The art itself wasn't all that great, but the story, and the near daily updates keep me comming back for more. My Space Like you didn't see THIS one comming. For a while I refused to get a page, listing it as another blogging site, that I wouldn't update, but when I realized the networking possobilites, and job opportunities, I had to jump on the band wagon. Seems pretty cool so far. Movies There are so many movies I want to see and so many I watch over and over again. Movies I have seen Princess Bride So freaking hillarious. A better whit I have yet to find. "As you wish." and "Inconcievable!" will never hold the same meaning for me again. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon What good Shoju girl doesn't enjoy the occasional Bejing action flick, in original Mandarin? This one I put above most other Kung-Fu movies because the women in this one are doing most of the fighting, heck most of the "better" fighting in the movie. XXX As in Vin Diesel, not as in Porn flicks.. I watched that thing so much I know every line every oops in there, As I said above, I love bald guys, and Vin, just so happens to look like my husband. I can say with all honesty, he is the only man in hollywood who does it for me. Pracical Magic This is one of those odd movies for me. I like Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, but girly movies aren't usually my flavor. I was just able to relate the 2 main character to me and my sister. (She thinks so too) So, every time I watch it I think of her. Plus there is magic, and that super-natural element always helps. Movies I want to see These are the films I find culturally signifigant. If I don't see them I will kick myself Shaun of the dead I blame Work/School for this one. I worked at at the College I graduated from, after I graduated. I worked in the marketing department, specifically with Orientation Surveys. One of the questions was top 3 movie picks. This was the #1 pick of the majority of the hundreds of surveys I reviewed.
