3/1 MALICE MIZER's Nippon Columbia HP has been updated!!! Go check it out at http://music.denon.co.jp/~malice/. 2/24 MALICE MIZER PV called "merveilles ~cinq parallele~" will be released, containing video clips from Bel Air to Le ciel, (COVA-50023, ¥ 4,800, 28 min). It will include an image clip which they made recently, (the Macromedia one in the "Le ciel" CDS). 2/15 MALICE MIZER's latest book, "retour", is finally released (published by FOOL'S MATE). It's A4 in size, and contains 200+ pages. Full of quality concert photos, it chronicles the history of the band in terms of concert dates and tours (from 1992-1998). 2/1~2/15 In Shibuya, Tokyo, MALICE MIZER will have a huge promotional advertisement posted on Building 109, (a popular fashion center), from 2/1 to 2/15 only! 1/19 Malice Mizer: Gackt, a member of popular visual rock band Malice Mizer, left the music band, Gackt's talent agency said officially on January 19. The talent agency added, "What Gackt wants to do is different from what Malice Mizer is doing now. Malice Mizer will welcome another vocalist," and stated with anger, "As for Gackt, as he is still a rocker making a business contract with our agency, he can't release a CD as a musician of another agency. If he releases something from another agency, we will accuse him of an illegal contract." (Hardcover; all-color; 112 pages; ¥ 2,500 w/out tax). 7/22 End of Malice Mizer's "merveilles" Concert Tour (originally, it was from 5/29~6/29, but they added two extra concert dates: 6/21 and 7/22). 7/19 Malice Mizer, (along with Rouage, Pierrot, La'Cryma Christi, and Dir en Grey), are going to perform in the Shockwave Illusion Concert. Update: I hear that each band only played for 30 mins, (and some as less as 15?!).
