merveilles ~cinq parallèle~ (2/24/99) The video comes in a beautiful package, with a special case (for the first limited versions), and 6 picture cards, (5 showing the covers of their five singles, and the last one showing only the 4 remaining members in their "Pope" costumes). So how is the band's video collection? Well, I must say, funnily enough, that my favorite video is "Bel Air", because it seems to me the most professionally done. "Le ciel" is also good, but the rest... well, we'll leave that to the viewers... Admittedly, the band's videos are very "artsy", very visual, and there's a lot of beautiful costumes and imagery thrown here and there, along with some special effects, (as well as some nudity in ILLUMINATI). But MALICE MIZER are a strange band, and I think their videos depict just that. Get it at your own risk. Also, the video seems incredulously priced for only 5 videos. | |
