AJ looked around the room as Amber busily rushed around the room in a big white terricloth robe. Waiters and sales people from the hotel shop where rushing in and out, he had never seen someone so pampered before in his life, she looked like a primadonna, if she asked these people would bow to kiss her feet. Amber sat down at the glass dinning table as a waiter set a plate of steaming bowl of pasta in front of her.

    "AJ, c'mon before your food gets cold,"said Amber as the waiter set another plate down across from her. AJ got up and walked over to the table he sat down and looked at Amber, she seemed to be a different person, if she was really pregnant something was really affecting her. He watched as she ate like nothing wrong, a pile of shoeboxes was starting to grow in the living room and the dresses were piling up.

    "Excuse me, somebody, I totally forgot, but he's going to need a tux. Can we get a tailor up here?"said Amber gesturing to AJ.

    "What do I need tux for?"asked AJ.

    "We'll you can go out to dinner in jeans AJ,"said Amber. AJ stood up and looked at her.

    "Who ever the fuck you are I'll be back at the motel with Nick, when you come around and start being the Amber I remember and not this self center bitch your playin' then come talk to me,"said AJ before leaving the room. Amber sat there stunned, everyone in the room looked at her with wide eyes. Swallowing deep Amber went back to eating which was a cue for everyone to go back to what they were doing.

    AJ paid the taxi with some of the money Nick had given him. He walked back to their old room, Nick was still sitting outside with Laura and her boyfriend.

    "And the cat comes back,"said Laura,"Where's Amber?"

    "Beverly fucking Hills Hotel,"said AJ lighitng a cigarette as he sat down.

    "Ouch,"muttered Nick.

    "So did ya really knock her up?"aksed Laura.

    "Yeah, I dunno, she wasn't really talking to me. She was too busy ordering everyone about,"said AJ,"I've never seen her like this."

    "And the little spoiled rich girl comes out,"said Nick.

    "I dunno,"said AJ shaking his head.

    Amber sat on the patio of her suite and looked out over the city. It was dark and lights were glowing dimly, she had just finished with her manicure, she had picked out a few dresses she like and matching shoes. She didn't know what had come over her but she needed to break away from that place, it was like she opened her eyes and seen it was hell, or atleast it was compared to what she was use to.

    "I'm not cut out for this, Alexa was right, I can't do this,"said Amber. She got up and walked back inside, the TV played softly in the background. She sat on the bed and looked down at herself, "Goddammit, I wish there was a book somewhere with all the fucking answers."
