A week later Amber was back home, her father had given her hell for taking off and Alanha wasn't talking to her for not bringing AJ home. She sat in her room staring ou the window, Bianca and Jeff were due to come through the door any minute with a million questions. Amber sighed, she missed AJ, he hadn't spoke to her since he walked out of the hotel room.

    "He hates me,"she said quietly,"Can't blame him really." As according to her plans Bianca opened the door and popped her head in.

    "Hey babe,"she cried running over to Amber with Jeff behind her. Bianca flung her arms around Amber and gave her a large hug before pulling back and looking at her.
 
    "Girl, what the hell did you do to your hair?"asked Bianca.

    "Got a little crazy,"said Amber half smiling. She looked at Jeff and pulled away from Bianca, quickly she wrapped her arms around Jeff's neck.

    "You ok Amby?"asked Jeff softly.

    "Yeah,"she replied standing back.

    "Wow you look so different,"said Bianca. Amber smiled shyly and sat down on the bed, Bianca sat down next to her next to well Jeff sat down in front of them on the floor.

    "So what are our test results?"asked Jeff. Amber looked at Jeff then over at Bianca.

    "He told me,"said Bianca.

    "Well it's positive,"said Amber softly,"I don't wanna have a baby." Bianca wrapped her arm around Amber's shoulder and hugged her.

    "Whatcha going to do?"asked Jeff.

    "I dunno, I don't wanna think about it,"said Amber,"I just wanna get on with life for a few days."

    "Well there is a party tonight,"said Jeff.

    "I wanna go,"said Amber sitting up straight,"Where? and When?"

    "David's place,"said Bianca,"It started about an hour ago."

    "Give me, ten minutes,"said Amber standing up. She pulled off her sweatshirt and started digging through the closet.

    "I'm going to the living room,"said Jeff getting up.

    "Like you haven't seen me naked before,"said Amber.

    "Whatever,"said Jeff walking out of the room. Amber looked over at Bianca then back at her closet, she pulled out a pair of black pants and threw them to Bianca.

    "What are these for?"and Bianca.

    "You are so not going to David's in jeans and a shirt,"said Amber smiling. Bianca laughed and crawled over the bed and joined Amber at the closet.

    Twenty minutes later Bianca and Amber walked down to the living room to find Jeff sitting in the living room watching TV with Kevin.

    "Kevin what are you doing here?"asked Amber.

    "Yeah, your dad said for me to tell you to go talk to him the minute you were down from pampering yourself,"said Jeff. Amber nodded and walked down the hall to her father's office where he most likely was. She looked in the mirror before entering his office she was wearing a pair of tight jeans and a white tank top with butterflies on it, her hair was pulled into a ponytail with small strands framing her face. Walking into the office Will looked up at his daughter.

    "Going out?"asked Will.

    "A party at David's,"said Amber sitting in one of the chairs across from him,"Jeff said you wanted to talk to me."

    "Yes, well you've been gone I've been thinking about things and some things played out a certain way. Amber, how would you feel about a younger brother?"asked Will.

    "What?"asked Amber,"I didn't know you were seeing anyone."

    "No, see I was thinking, well I am, going to go through the adoption process for Kevin."said Will,"When AJ left, he came over looking for either of you, and he ended up staying a few days. With guidence he could turn into a successful young man and we have this big house and soon Amber, you'll be gone." Amber smiled, well atleast it was something good.

    "I'd love to have Kevin here,"said Amber standing up,"Well I gotta get going but I'll be home soon."

    "Have fun dear,"said Will as Amber left. Amber walked back to the living room, everyone looked at her as she entered the room.

    "Did you know about this?"asked Amber to Kevin. He nodded then looked down at his lap, Amber walked over and hugged him.

    "Welcome to the family,"she whispered into his ear. She stood up and looked at Jeff and Bianca ready to leave.

    "Kay, let's go,"said Amber smiling. The three of them walked out the door and got into Jeff's car.

    A half an hour later Amber walked into David's house, many heads turned in her direction. She had been out of town without a word for a while and rumors were all over the place about her. Amber wore a smug smile as she walked through the crowds until she reached the kitchen, Adrian and Alexa were standing in the kitchen as Amber wandered in.

    "Well look who came rolling back into town,"said Adrian loudly. Everyone in the ktichen turned to see Amber.

    "So where's the boyfriend Amber?"asked Alexa.

    "LA,"said Amber as she got a can of pop.

    "What's he doing there?"asked Adrian.

    "I don't have a fucking clue,"said Amber. Alexa smiled as she walked over next to Amber.

    "Great to see you came to your senses,"said Alexa,"Welcome home honey." Amber looked over at her old friend and smiled, something seemed right with this life, going to parties on the weekend, going home to your big cozy house and not worrying about anything.

    "I know,"said Amber,"I need to dance."

    "Great,"said Alexa grabbing Amber's hand. She dragged her outside where everyone was dancing to the new Moby song. The two girls walked into the crowd, not many people noticed that the two girls were with each other and not fighting, but a few strange stares came their way.

    "Why is Amber dancing with Alexa?"Bianca asked Jeff as they stood on the second floor deck looking over the back lawn.

    "I don't know,"said Jeff strangely.

    "Well I'm going to go get her,"said Bianca.

    "Bia, leave her. Amber is happy, I don't think she's had an easy couple of weeks,"said Jeff.

    "I don't care,"said Bianca walking off. Jeff sighed and started following Bianca. The two walked through the crowds and made their way down the stairs to the front room where Bianca stopped dead in her tracks.

    "AJ's here,"said Bianca quietly.

    "What?"asked Jeff.

    "He just walked in,"said Bianca pointing over to the door where AJ walked in followed by a taller blond guy.

    "Ah fuck,"muttered Jeff. The two of them pushed until they made it out to the back lawn.

    "How the hell are we going to find them?"said Bianca.

    "There's Amber,"said Jeff,"She's getting kinda close to that guy." Bianca looked over and seen a tall guy with blond spikes grinding into Amber's backside.

    Amber was smiling and laughing as AJ walked out to the backyard with Nick in tow.

    "AJ how the fuck are we gonna find her here?"asked Nick.

    "We look,"said AJ,"I gotta talk to her." Nick sighed and looked around, he found her almost instantly, she was with some guy with her back pressed close up against him as they grinded. A bright smile was on her face as she laughed and swayed in time with the music. As they walked through the crowd they heard a few people whispering about Amber and that AJ was here, and explaining to friends who he was.

    "Hey baby, wanna give me the pleasure of a dance?"asked a girl walking up to Nick.

    "Where's Amber Banks?"asked AJ.

    "Over there,"said girl pointing over to Amber,"So c'mon babe, how about it?"

    "Maybe later,"said Nick noticing AJ's expression go from shocked to pissed. AJ didn't even mother with Nick he walked straight over to where Amber was and stood in front of her. Amber looked up and stopped smiling and laughing.

    "AJ,"she said almost gasping.

    "What the fuck is this?"asked AJ. Slowly people started turning around and watching what was going to happen.

    "Nothing,"snorted Alexa stepping next to Amber,"Thought you were in LA."

    "Didn't Amber make it clear, piss off,"said AJ.

    "Ha, that's funny,"said Alexa,"Obviously, it's the other way around from the way things look." Amber looked at AJ with and emotionless stare as Jacob, from the party before and the guy she was dancing with tapped her on the shoulder.

    "Do we have a problem?"asked Jacob.

    "Yeah,"snorted Alexa.
 
    "Jacob,"said Amber calmly looking at him.

    "Can I talk to you?"asked AJ grabbing Amber's arm.

    "Why?"asked Amber pulling her arm out of his grasp,"You left me."

    "You were acting like a bitch,"said AJ.

    "So?"asked Amber.

    "And who the fuck is this?"barked AJ as he pointed at Jacob.

    "He's a friend,"said Amber.

    "My ass,"muttered AJ.

    "Look dude back off,"said Jacob,"Leave the girl alone." Jacob slightly moved in front of Amber as he eyed both Nick and AJ. Amber sighed and crossed her arms, she didn't know what she wanted to do. She could ended it with AJ, right here and now, she'd never have back up for it like now or she could walk back into his arms. Her mind blurred as she started tearing up, Jacob was in a heated argument with both Nick and AJ. Suddenly she started walking back to the house, she wasn't listening or bothering to see if any one was following her. She wiped tears from her face as she walked back into the house where the part was still in full force. Pushing through people she made her way upstairs and found an unused bathroom, she closed and locked the door behind her. She looked at herself in the mirror.

    "Who the fuck am I?"she whispered,"One moment, I'm all like I hate being a Daddy's girl, next minute I'm the stuck up Daddy's girl princess." She wiped away her tears and cleaned up a bit before she had to go to the bathroom. Amber undid her jeans and sat on the toilet to do her business, mindlessly she looked around then down at the thong she was wearing was covered in a rusty red stain. Slowly she slipped a finger between her legs and slid her finger along her womanhood and pulled it back up, it was covered in blood. Confused she leaned over and and turned on the tap with her clean hand and washed her finger off then made a pad out of toilet paper and did the best she could to keep it in place. She did up and her jeans then cleaned up, looking back in the mirror she still couldn't believe what was going on.

    "I've got my period,"she said quietly. She opened and door up and looked out, Nick, AJ, Jeff, Jacob, Bianca and Alexa were all standing around. Immediately she walked over and hugged both Bianca and Alexa who were standing next to each other.

    "I have never been happier to have Elmo,"said Amber smiling. Elmo had been their code for their period, they always confused people but saying they had Elmo with them.

    "What are you talking about?"asked Alexa as Amber let go.

    "Are you serious?"asked Bianca. Amber smiled and nodded.

    "What the hell are you guys talking about?"asked AJ.

    "It's the elmo thing man, don't ask I've been trying to figure it out for the last seven years,"said Jeff.

    "I need to go to the clinic or the hospital or something,"said Amber.

    "What? Why? What's wrong?"asked AJ.

    "Nothing maybe wrong,"said Amber shaking her head,"Lexa, got a car here?"

    "Yeah,"said Alexa.

    "Then let's go,"said Amber grabbing her arm.
