WHO CARES:
Does the thought ever cross your mind
that nobody seems to care?
Do you ever think deep down inside
that your life just isnt fair?

Do you think you're life is over
when in fact its only begun?
I'll let you in on a little secret of mine,
life isn't always fun.

Life is God's greatest gift to you,
so think before you take it away.
Try hard to live every hour to its fullest,
and look forward to every day.

Life can be compared to a lot of things,
because it has its ups and its downs
it has many good things and bad things,
and it has it's smiles and frowns.

The world is not always a beautiful place,
but in it is everything that we need.
Believe in yourself and everything that you do,
and you can't help but succeed.

"I NEED A FRIEND: God," the little girl had said.
"I need a friend to tuck me in bed."
She needed someone to always be there.
She needed God to love her and care.
Only he can guide her from her wrong.
For when she's weak he makes her strong.
When she's hurting he heals her pain.
And when she's losing he helps her gain.

"Child," God had kindly said.
"I have always been there to tuck you in bed."

JUST ONE WISH: If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.
There is a dime a dozen...
Then there is one in a million...
But baby, you are once in a lifetime.

The World’s Most Beautiful

I’d give anything to see the sun set on the horizon,
I’d do anything to gaze at a full moon in the night sky;
Even a rainbow would make me smile,
And I’d love to swim in crystal clear waters
Of an untouched sea;
Sometimes I’ll see a shooting star,
And try to gaze from afar,
All the diamonds in the night sky;
The mist on the mountains is breathtaking,
As is walking in rainforest;
To see cascading waterfalls I’d do anything for,
As to stand on the highest peak in the world,
And look at the sights below;
I’d love to soar on wings above the clouds,
Across the bluest skies;
I’d do anything to see
All the beautiful things in the world,
Like a red rose blooming in the Sahara,
Like a river twisting through a dusty land,

But I also know I am looking at
The world’s most beautiful creation,

Candles flicker softly on a table set for two,

I feel the sun on my leaves
The sun is warm
And I am happy

The sun has reached its zenith, blazing and burning
I feel my leaves slowly whither
I can not move to shade
Rain should come soon before I die

Then the gardener comes out
He picks up a watering can
And goes down each row
I greet the cool water, beginning to feel refreshed and alive again already

"No," says the plant next to me
The gardener raises his eyebrows
"No," it repeats, "I don’t want water."
"The sun is too hot. Rain will not come for a while," the gardener responds
"I like the sun," the plant retorts
"But you will whither without water."
"No I won’t…if I think that there is water…there will be water."
The gardener tries to reason, but the plant, it does not listen
"I will come back," the gardener says and he moves on to the other plants
"Why don’t you want the gardener’s care?" I ask
The browning of the little plant's leaves begins
"I don’t need His help. I can survive on my own."

The gardener comes back
He tries to reason with it
It won’t listen
I try to reason with it
It won’t listen
Eventually the plant dies
The gardener shales his head
"Why," I ask, "Why did it reject you?"
He looks at me with tears in his eyes
"Because it didn’t want me. It thought it could survive without me. It was wrong."
Then the gardener picks up his watering can and walks away

My heart: is tiered my soul feels depleted
my pulse grows weak, life is thin, no longer can i feel it
my hope has disappeared like a fading heart beat
no longer can i hear it
strange, the end is near but no longer do i fear it
I've grown wise and gained the right perspective
even at times when i feel weary or times seem hectic
better is death than to understand your word and neglect it
is time up or do the grains of sand still fall
the search for true joy has been treacherous but on you i now call
i confess my sins to you and at this moment in time accept i am at fault
the hour of being passive is gone
it's time to be critical
help me walk within the path of righteousness so i am not perceived as being hypocritical

Imagine a world with no lies.
could you?
imagine a world with no hate.
could you?
just give it a try.
maybe you should stop the lies.
maybe you should stop the hate.
if the world were sober of lies,
and if the world were free of hate.
maybe we could all get along.
cuz the drunkness and slavery of lies and hate are the devils way of laughing at us. we need not his evil plan.
lord help us be good.

ONLY YOU! God, I don't understand so I'm asking why,
Why did you shed your sons' blood instead of mine;
Even though I was yet a sinner Lord you still wanted to take my place,
I can't even look in the mirror at my own face;
When there was an empty place in my heart that I thought a girlfriend could fill,
I've come to realize that you're the one who can fill my heart with joy and make me forget my guilt ;
I f you decide to give me that special someone to love,
then I’ll know that they were sent from heaven up above

WE AR FAMILY: You look down upon me
For things you never had to see

You call me hateful names
But it’s you that it shames
Maybe you just don’t know
It’s time to let the past go

In slavery I did not play a role
It wasn’t something that I could control

I don’t carry hate in my heart
Then and now you need to set apart

You and I are both equals
We no longer fight those battles

I don’t think that I am better than you
I wish the terrible past we could undo

It was what it was
And I was not the cause

It’s been hundred of years
So you can let go of your fears

Some people are stuck in their ways
They know only what their family displays

For you can not blame them
It’s their teachers you should condemn

I can’t be mad because of your ignorance
Maybe you just need some guidance

We share the same ground
So together we are bound
