Mmm, Crabs. How to catch your own.

Of the three methods I know of to catch crabs, I have tried one and have built a trap, but need a place to set it. Catching Crabs: 1.String and Net Method: -Lower string with a piece of chicken tied to it and wait until you feel or see a crab messing with. -Slowly lure the crab to the surface, but let it hold on to the chicken. -When the crab is visible, swipe the crab into your net. -This maybe the most frustrating method, but it can be successful.

2. Basket Method -You can buy a specially made 'Crab Basket' these are like two fish landing nets attached together. -Tie a piece of bait to the center of the basket. -Lower and let it sit on the bottom. -Periodically raise to trap to see if you have anything.

3. Crab Trap -These can be built, so can the Basket method above. But this will be the one I show how to make. -Basically a fool proof method. -Put bait in holder and find a place to set it that is out of water traffic. -Check to see regulations in your area, some places require a license and there is a bag limit.
