I don`t understand a lot of what I read about what`s wrong with America. But when you don`t have a lot of book-learnin`, there`s just a lot of things you can`t understand. But this one thing I do know, is that even though She`s just like a mother to me, America owes to God, everything She is, or ever hopes to be. God, bless America, again. You must know the trouble that She`s in. Wash Her pretty face, dry Her eyes and then,.. God, bless America, again. Oh please, |
Somewhere in southeast Asia, there`s a man who was your neighbor. Living in a bamboo cage, wonderin` what happened to the USA.--Charlie Daniels, 1980 Lest We Forget ,.. |
"We KissedThe Boys Good-bye" was drawn by Chauchetta D. in 1998, not as a memorial to war, but instead, as a memorial to the boys who were there, and to the ones at home waiting their turns to go. A great price has been paid so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have in America. Let`s take care we don`t take it for granted. Thanks for the drawing, Chauchetta. |
God bless America,again |
