Chun-On walked closer as he was curious to know also. ?What?s this about Uncle Phong finally having a family?? he asked.
Quay heard that everyone had ran upstairs so she goes up also and gasps at the sight she sees in front of her. ?What?s going on?? she asks.
Just then Hong Dao said, ?Phong is not really my husband.? She was explaining to Ho-Ying and Chun-On.
?What? Quay exclaimed with astonishment. ?I?m confused. What?s going on??
Hong Dao smiled and replied, ?Phong and I were never really husband and wife.? Everyone gave her a confused glance.
Hong Dao continued looking at Quay, ?We have only remained that way to give Li-Nam a happy family. The only man I have in my heart is my Husband, Li Hui Phong.?
Now everyone was more confused.
Hong Dao looked at everyone and started to explain. ?I mistaken Lam Hui Phong as my husband when I had gone insane because he had a similar name. Since Phong had amnesia, my father changed his last name to Li and reported Lam Hui Phong dead for the deceased soldier name list.?
?I get it now.? Lan-Yee said, ?But why did my father have to continue being Li-Nam?s father?? she asked.
Phong decided to explain that part. ?Well Hong Dao and her father took care of me during that time, and Li-Nam grew up thinking I was his real father. So in order to repay them for their hospitality, I decided to remain Li-Nam?s father s he wouldn?t have to be an orphan.?
Everyone is thrilled except Quay who looks as if she?s going to faint. She falls against the door of Lan-Yee?s bedroom.
?What?s wrong?? Chun-On ask quickly running to his mother.
?Suet booked a flight to go to Hong Kong this morning!?
?Why didn?t mom tell me?? Lan-Yee asked.
?She didn?t want you to worry. She wanted you to concentrate on your education and going to England to finish next month with Chun-On.?
Phong grabs Quay by the shoulders. ?What do you mean she booked a flight to Hong Kong!? he screams at Quay.
?I don?t know she said she need time to think and since we have a business plan in Hong Kong she decided to leave their first thing this morning. But she?ll be back. She said she was only going to close the plans for the new theater there.? Quay said.
?We have to find mommy and stop her from going!? Lan-Yee said.
?We can wait for her to come back.? Chun-On suggested.
?NO!? Lan-Yee and Phong shouted in sync. Everybody looked at them and they look at each other too then they smiled.
Lan-Yee nodded. ?Mom has waited so many years to reunite with daddy. I don?t want her to wait another minute. I want her to know daddy remembers her today, right now.? She said firmly.
Phong nodded. ?I?ve waited so many years to remember the past and now that I do, I want to share my future with Suet, right now.? He added firmly
?What time does her plane take off?? Li-Nam asked looking at Quay.
?1 pm.? Quay replied.
Hong-Dao looked at the time. ?It?s 12:11 pm right now.? She said.
Everyone starts heading to the airport. Phong was so nervous. He remembered chasing after her once and he lost her. He remembered the first time he met her. He remembered her agony during his relationship with Quay. He remembered everything.

When they got there the flight had started to board and they quickly ran to look for her in the crowd. Nobody saw her anywhere.
?She might have already gotten on.? Quay said.
Phong quickly ran to the ticket counter. ?What are you doing?? Hong Dao asked.
Quay and everyone watched him pushing people out of his way as he ran crazily for the ticket counter.
?I?m buying a ticket to get on this flight!? he yelled. As he ran to the ticket counter not even waiting in line.
Ho-Ying, Chun-On, Li-Nam and Lan-Yee apologized to people he pushed out of the way.
?Give me a ticket for this plane leaving to Hong Kong!? he said in a loud tone.
The ticket agent was somewhat frightful of the tone of voice he spoke in, ?I?m sorry this flight is boarding right now. I can?t sell you a ticket.? she mumbled.
?I don?t care.? Phong said pulling out all the money in his pocket which was about $800 Shanghai dollars. ?I need to get on that plane!?
?I?m sorry sir but I can?t the flight is leaving. With checking of luggage, writing up your boarding pass, and your receipt, I don?t think you?ll make it.? She said in a cowardly voice because his tone was so vicious.
He pounded the counter, ?I have no luggage! I don?t need a receipt and just give me a dam boarding pass!? he screamed.
?Calm down!? Quay said patting his back so he would not yell at all the innocent people, especially the ticket agent who now looked very fearful of him.
Phong refused to calm down. ?I let her leave once and lost her! I?m not letting her leave again I can?t lose her again.? He said to Quay.
?She?s only going on a business trip! She?ll be back!? Quay yelled back at him.
?I have been lost for 20 years and now I?ve found my way again!? he shouted.
Everybody stared at him. Hong-Dao shook her head firmly at him. For the past few years he?s been used to listening to Hong Dao because she was his savior.
So he calmed down a bit and said, ?I want to tell her that I love her. For the last 20 years I?ve loved her and she?s waited 20 years to hear it. I don?t want her to wait any longer and I don?t want to wait either.?
They were all touched by his words. Quay backed away from him touched he could love Suet so much. Hong Dao held onto Quay.
Phong then looked at the ticket agent and said, ?Tell your manager to get out here now!?
The girl quickly ran to get her manager. The manager a short man named Mr. Ha came out and started to apologize to Phong, ?I?m sorry mister our policy is?? he got cut off by Phong.
?I am Li Hui Phong. I want to get on that plane. If I?m not on it I will buy this airline and you will never work in Shanghai again.?
?The manager immediately became frighten at the sound of his name.? Anyone that knew anything knew that the Li?s were a very wealthy and influential family in Shanghai. ?Yes sir,? he said nervously writing out a boarding pass.
He looked at the ticket agent and asked her, ?Which flight is this again??
?Flight number 104.? She said. He wrote it and gave Phong the boarding pass.
Phong ran quickly to the gate. Everyone followed. ?Find mommy and bring her home.? Lan-Yee said. Phong nodded and ran into the plane.
Everyone else headed home. On the way they passed the bund. Hong Dao was looking out the window and saw a woman that looked like Suet.
?Stop the car!? she yelled.
Li-Nam stopped the car. ?What happened mom?? he asked.
Hong Dao opened the car door and ran towards the woman. Quay and Lan-Yee looked to see Suet! They all ran out to her.
Suet saw them running and smiled to greet them ?Hi everybody! What are you all doing here?? she asked surprised to see them.
Everyone started talking at once. All Suet heard was Phong something, Hong Dao something, Hong Kong something, and plane something.
?Wait! Wait One at a time! What are you all saying?? she said waving her hand up and down in the air to stop them.
Quay then hushed everybody and said, ?We all thought you went to Hong Kong? What are you doing here??
?Well I realized that I had some things I didn?t finish yet so I booked a later flight.?
?But Dad has just gotten on the plane to look for you!? Lan-Yee screams.
?Don?t say such nonsense.? Suet says to hush Lan-Yee up. Hong Dao and Li-Nam was standing there.
Hong Dao shakes Suet, ?I?m not Phong?s wife!?
Suet becomes stunned. They all jump in explaining to her. She becomes excited happy and thrilled. She runs to the airport to change her flight to the next one so that she can meet up with Phong in Hong Kong.

They all rushed with her back to the airport. Once they got to the airport everything was a mess. What was going on? People were crying. Airport staff was running around crazily.
Li-Nam grabs one of the people walking past him. ?What has happened?? he asked.
?A plane has gone down that was headed for Hong Kong!? the man replies.
Ho-Ying?s eyes widened, ?Do you think that was father-in-law?s plane??
Everyone?s became bewildered. ?Where?? Hong Dao asked.
?It crashed a little after take off so it?s on the run way right now.? the man says and continues in the direction he was heading.
They all scurried there to see if they could find Phong. There were many people around and the scene was horrific. There were many people morning over their family members. Some bodies were so burnt it was unrecognizable.
Suet panicked as her heart almost stopped. She looked left and right and didn?t see Phong anywhere. She helped pull people out of the rubble but Phong wasn?t one of the people she pulled out.
Everyone else went crazy trying to find Phong also. Everyone?s search ended fruitlessly. Suet wouldn?t give up. She pulled up rubbles of the plane until her hands bleed.
?He?s not in here! He?s not dead!? She screamed pulling the rubbles like a maniac.
Lan-Yee cried seeing her mother this way. ?She wrapped her arms around Suet. ?Its ok mommy. Daddy?s not in here! He?s not in here!? she tried to calm Suet down.
Suet couldn?t calm down. Her heart was beating so rapidly. She couldn?t breath, she was losing her air supply. She started to tremble frantically.
Lan-Yee became alarmed. ?Chun-On!? she screamed, ?Come here! Come Here!?
Chun-On came running over. ?Oh my goodness!? he said softly.
Quay and the others heard Lan-Yee?s screams also and came running. Suet was having another heart attack. Chun-On quickly carried her out of the massive rubble and headed for the hospital.
As they headed for the car they saw Phong walking towards the exit. ?Daddy! Lan-Yee screams at the sight of her father. She wraps her arms around him glad to see that he?s okay and points at Suet terrify to death about her mother?s condition.
Phong sees them and smiles but when he sees Suet he becomes alarmed, ?what has happened?? he yells as he takes Suet into his arms.
Li-Nam drives the car and heads for the hospital at a crazily fast speed. Everyone is crying Phong is hugging Suet tightly. She hasn?t lost entire conscious yet and reaches for his face.
Phong holds on to her hands and presses it against his face. ?You?re going to be okay.?
?Please. Please forget. Forget about me?. Me? when I die.? She mumbles.
?How can I ever forget you! I love you! I LOVE YOU!? he says loudly.
?It?s not true love?.? She says and gasps for air. ?You can. You can. Forget about me.? Suet stutters as she is losing her breath.
?Even when I forgot I loved you I fell back in love with you! This is TRUE LOVE! Nothing is Truer than this!? he shouted hugging her tightly. ?You can?t die now! You have to become my wife! We have to be married! We have to be together!?
Suet smiled at him and shook her head. Phong stopped her from shaking her head ?You?ll be fine!? he persisted. ?You?ll be fine!?
?I?m.. I?m? I am going? going to be? be? be okay.? Suet stutters.
Phong nods ?You?ll be fine.?
Quay and Hong Dao start praying. Lan-Yee is crying on Chun-On shoulders. Ho-Ying is crying sitting next to Li-Nam as she holds her stomach. Her baby is kicking her. She tries to keep it in she doesn?t want to worry anyone.
They got to the hospital and everyone rushes Suet to the emergency room. Suddenly Ho-Ying screams in agonizing pain as her stomach hurts too much now. Hong Dao realizes Ho-Ying is about to give birth and calls a doctor. Ho-Ying is rushed into an emergency room.
They rushed Suet into another emergency room and everyone looks anxiously as the hospital door closes. Two women in the emergency room. One giving birth and the other on the verge of death. Phong leans back against the hospital wall and closes his eyes??

Hours later Ho-Ying has given birth to a baby girl. Quay, Hong Dao, Li-Nam, and Chun-On went to see her. Everyone is happy about Ho-Ying?s baby. Quay holds her new grand-daughter in her hands and smiles but is also worried about Suet. Then she notices a scar on the baby?s foot. Suet had a similar scar like it.
Lan-Yee and Phong are still waiting by Suet's emergency room.
The doctor comes out moments after and says, "I'm sorry."
Lan-Yee immediately cries and Phong holds on to her tightly. He cannot believe it. His eyes are filled with anger, pain, and great sadness as he holds onto his daughter.

Phong is standing in front of a tombstone. Ying and Jing are standing next to him. They comfort their brother. Jing says, ?She is probably in heaven now.?
Ying lets out a deep sigh, ?Don?t think too much about it, she would like us all to be happy.?
Lan-Yee is kneeling and burning ghost money. ?I hope its warm in heaven. If not you can buy new clothes to keep you warm.?
A woman kneels down next to her, ?It?s okay honey, Grandma will be happy in heaven.? Hong Dao says.
Ho-Ying?s daughter, Sui Choi is crying. ?Even she knows her Great grandmother has passed away.? Quay remarks and picks up her grand-daughter and rocks her to sleep.
Suet places her incense into the ground then stands up to walks over to Phong. He wraps his arms around her. ?At least mother saw our wedding before she pasted away.? He says nestling her tightly in his arms.
Suet nodded, ?That was the last thing she wanted.? Suet says as she nestles into Phong?s sweet embrace.
?I love you.? He whispers softly into her ears.
She smiles gently as she whispers ?I love you too.?
