Space Dolphin Projects
< --------------CURRENT NEWS---------------------------------------OTHER STUFF------------------------------>
It may seem that there aren't a whole lot of films being produced by Space Dolphin Pictures. You may be thinking: Just what do these buggers mean when they say they are filmmakers? Well, for every finished product made by Space Dolphin, there are several "un-polished" flicks. Below is the most comprehensive SDP project list on the Internet. Eat up. I hope very few peoples' heads explode from all this information. |

The Art Film (complete)
the year 2000, Jeremy's Basement, Key Club 30-Hour famine. Please, feed your kids.
Perhaps the most meaningful film of the year, the art film is an unofficial SDP project, a few Space Dolphins participated in the making of this beautiful, provocative "thought film". Oh wait, the art film is a mockery of all art films ever. The intent of it's creators was a meaningless video that would be fun to implant false meaning to later. and that's the way it happened. Flynn and Jeremy both got excellent grades in art class for this monstrosity. FUNNY AS SHIT!!!! WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!!
Dudes who were there: Flynn Smith, Jeremy Gerstner, Kent Pollman, Nolan Wall, Trent Sutter, Steve Haile, Adam Gerstner plus a few. Maybe.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
The Big Ship Titalicus (finished script, it's a play)
the year 2000, Space. On board the mighty B.S.Titalicus, a big spaceship.
B.S. Titalicus is the first great accomplishment of the SDP crew. It was written just before the conception of SDP, and the company draws its name from a bit of precious cargo on the Big Ship, a resident space dolphin. The wacky comedy antics of the BST's crew provide a truckload-o-laughs, even when read repeatedly. Just stop reading when you eyes start bleeding, okay? WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!!! FUNNY AS SHIT!!!! |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Written by: Kent Pollman, Flynn Smith, Nolan Wall, Jeremy Gerstner. Special Thanks to: Mary Anderson and Carolyn Bopp

The Chase (complete) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2001-2002 (just about a year), various Troy Locales, Jeff's old house.
There's this guy, see? and this guy is like, driving, and then he's like, "I think there's someone in here with me!" But it seems there's not. Oh no! There is someone in there with him! Run, guy! Okay, good, he ran. Oh no! the other guy is chasing him! Aaaah! (this goes on for a little while, and without revealing too many secrets I can tell you that our chasee goes through some hard times. This is the first SDP Film of completeness. Flynn Smith proclaims: "I want to give birth through my penis, because this movie has impregnated me with such joy!!!" FUNNY AS SHIT!!!!!
Holy cow, what a crew: Flynn Smith, Jeremy Gerstner, Kent Pollman, Joe Zoellner, Aaron McCrary, Nolan Wall, Adam Gerstner, Jeff Gittemeier, Amy and Sarah Fox, and Teagan Smith.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Work-in-Progress | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Conceived early, still under development.
This is a great concept! It's so good, I can't tell you much of anything about it! I can tell you three things: It's about zombies, it hasn't been done before, and it's funnier than shit. This project (some people know what I'm talking about and will agree with me here) is possibly the upcoming project with the most potential. We are weighing the consequences of a summer 2003 filming date, but the script has yet to be polished off. Writers live across the U.S.A. BET YOU CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
So far: Nolan Wall, Kent Pollman, Flynn Smith, Joe Zoellner, Aaron McCrary, and Jeremy Gerstner.

The Sludge Monster | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I imagine it was around the year 2000, in the desolate, frozen streets of Troy, MO.
A prime example of what we do to kill time, the sludge monster video is about a rather unorganized group of fellows who set out on an adventure in the streets of their hometown, only to find the place overrun with sludge. Determined to track down the evil sludge monster, they brace themselves for a honkin' good time. Look out for the surprise ending! WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!! FUNNY AS SHIT!!!
Sludge-squashers unite: Jeremy Gerstner, Kent Pollman, Joe Zoellner, Flynn Smith, Aaron McCrary, Nolan Wall, and John Robertson.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Fade to White (possibly complete)
(2001, a Kent's basement odyssey)
Intentionally filmed with allowance for multiple meanings, this short film is sort of depressing. Joe stars as the guy, and Kent stars as the other guy, or is he an idea? is he dead? is he death? Choose for yourself. Set to original music by Kent himself, this film is temporarily complete. It was edited on a bad linear system, and will hopefully go through a re-edit (or possibly a re-shoot). Also, some music video footage was filmed and misplaced, but if it reappears we might be looking at a music video too. DECIDE FOR YOURSELF!!!!
A Deadly Alliance: Jeremy Gerstner, Joe Zoellner, and Kent Pollman.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Late Project (complete)
spring of 2002, Joe's 'Hood and Good Ol' Flo Valley Campus, St. Louis
A school project of Joe and Jeremy's, this film was under the sub-Space Dolphin heading "Womp Rat Pictures". The character Joe, played by Joe has to race against time to turn in his school project, the infamous Chase video. Complications arise when the tape is lost and Joe's class is nowhere to be found! Will our hero succeed in not failing? Will we be sued for using totally sweet music without permission? Will Kent's background massacre of Flynn ever stop? I don't know, go ask Mr. Owl. Jeez.... THIS IS OUR BOOMSTICK!!!!! |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Robot #4 racing team: Joe Zoellner, Jeremy Gerstner, Kent Pollman, Flynn Smith, Kim Zoellner(Joe's Mom), and anti-professor Tim Croskey
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Film Freeze (complete as it's gonna be)
In the wondery freshness of a CMSU Autumn night. 2002.
You've heard of freeze right? Well, this is- what? You haven't? Okay, I'll explain. It's a game where two people improvise little skits with one another. They continue their skit until an audience member says "FREEZE!" the impromptu actors stop exactly where they are and the yeller takes the place of an actor. The new pair continue. This video is not of the game. It is a very loosely intertwined bunch of skits that were improvised late at night. WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!! DECIDE FOR YOURSELF!!!!
Players: Flynn Smith, Nolan Wall, Joe Zoellner, Kent Pollman, and Jeremy Gerstner.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
The Legend of Frosty (Filmed Chronologically, but unedited)
the year 2002, Central Missouri State University Campus
Flynn decides to go for an adventure one night, and since no adventure is complete without an adventuring party, he grabs his faithful friend, Frosty the fake plastic snowman. Flynn finds it difficult to understand Frosaty's antics at first, but then the two bond, and become close friends. That's when the ultimate evil strikes and Frosty escapes through a magic vortex. What frosty does without Flynn is not for statues 18 years old and younger. WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!!! FUNNY AS SHIT!!!
Pursuers of Legend: Flynn Smith, Jeremy Gerstner, and of course: Frosty!!!
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Sam the Park Ranger (Filmed once, reshoot in development)
2000 or 2001, we don't recall. Cuivre River State Park.
Although Sunny Lincoln lakes is usually a great place to be, don't be caught in the act of attempted camping when there are no vacancies. Sam the Park Ranger is friendly, Sam the Park Ranger is true, don't mess up within his forest, or Sam the Park Ranger is coming for YOU! (and you). As this epic ballad explains, Sam the Park Ranger is one baaaad mother- Shut yo mouth! I'm just talking about the movie... Anyway, it's a good flick, but it's potential is nearly untapped. Reshooting will be glorious. FUNNY AS SHIT!!! WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!!
Trespassers Ahoy: Adam Gerstner, Joe Zoellner, and Jeremy Gerstner
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Kicking Campus (complete)
2002, Warrensburg. Enrollment Season.
It seems Central Missouri State University hates Jeremy Gerstner. When poor Jeremy tries to enroll, he finds all of his classes filled or unavailable. In his frustration he decides to drive to campus to give all the buildings a good kickin'. And so he does. A film about rage and retarded universities, Jeremy Gerstner calls Kicking Campus "The feel angry movie of the year! Damn!". Ten out of ten Jeremy Gerstners approve and a doctor somewhere might recommend kicking as therapy if they had known about this film. Also in the video, Jeremy brings Kent a sundrop. FUNNY AS SHIT!!!! WE GUARANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!!! |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Take #43: Flynn Smith, Jeremy Gerstner, and Kent Pollman.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Brook's Hollow/Nighttime Mystery/"Working Title here" (work-in-progress)
from the year 2001 to present day. Troy, Warrensburg. Who knows where next...
Proabably filmed more times than anything else we've done, and not nearly as complete as it should be, this project was first filmed with Aaron in the starring role, then with Jeremy. Shot on three types of tape (hi-8, vhs, and s-vhs), this story about a man named James who finds an entire town vacant. He searches to find the truth behind the mystery, and finds.... something. The project is unfinished, but fun to work on. Beginning footage exists, but in all likelyhood will be shot again before the deed is done. I WANNA KNOW MORE!!!! BET YOU CAN'T WAIT!!!
Whodunit: Aaron McCrary, Jeremy Gerstner, Joe Zoellner, Flynn Smith, Kent Pollman
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Unaware (complete) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The bleak dark nighttime streets of Warrensburg, MO, 2002/2003.
Okay, so shouldn't a hippie businessman be able to walk home in the dark without fear? If you said "Hell no!" then this flick is right up your alley. With hitherto unseen makeup effects and traditionally stolen music, Unaware brings the supernatural to your doorstep. The original version of thi one had a couple kinks in it, but the final cut displays flawless re-shoots mixed with original footage, along with some great new sound effects. The short movie is finished in black and white. THIS IS OUR BOOMSTICK!! I WANNA KNOW MORE!!!!
Crewcanthropes: Joe Zoellner, Jeremy Gerstner, Flynn Smith, and Kent Pollman.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
War for the Magical Glasses (complete)
2003, On a strict 7-hour schedule, on Warrensberg's streets and in the alley of butter madness
This film is a landmark for SDP, for it was our first entry into a film festival! This film unexpectedly took two of the four possible awards at the CMRA "One Night Stand" Film Fest. We came home with 2nd place and the People's Choice award. The film tells of the struggle of a young man (Zoellner) and his quest to master his powerful magic artifact, which holds great power. And is powerful. The young man is tormented by a bad guy (Smith) who hold his own array of magical items. The film festival allowed only ten hours to complete the peice entirely, which was lessened by driving time from columbia to the berg. Watch to see the chilling ending to the epic struggle. The newest edit of this film includes a score and added footage. THIS IS OUR BOOMSTICK!!! FUNNY AS SHIT!!!! WE GAURANTEE YOU'LL QUOTE THIS ONE!!!!
Acolytes of magical power: Joe Zoellner, Flynn Smith, Jeremy Gerstner, Adam Goforth, and Kent Pollman.
< --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Action Movie Project/"Fighting Back" (In Progress, Shooting on hold)
Begun Spring 2003, in the back woods and train tracks of Warrensburg MO.
So we were talking about our previous projects and we realized that we really hadn't done any action stuff. We know, you love the old stuff, and you don't want us to drift away from coolness, but don't worry compadres, we're talking Space Dolphin Pictures gives an ass-whooping here. Kent came up with an idea, we began shooting, and right now we're trying to figure out how to keep shooting. Busy schedules, restricted locations, and summertime sojourns have helped to set us back, but we've got a plan of attack and hopefully by fall 2003, SDP will have finished shooting on the action movie and moved into post. BET YOU CAN'T WAIT!!!
Actioneers (thus far): Kent Pollman, Won Ha, Joe Zoellner, Flynn Smith, Adam Goforth, Astha who's last name i don't know, Jason Rinck, and Jeremy Gerstner.
