It was written just before the conception of SDP, and the company draws its name from a bit of precious cargo on the Big Ship, a resident space dolphin. The wacky comedy antics of the BST's crew provide a truckload-o-laughs, even when read repeatedly. Just stop reading when you eyes start bleeding, okay?

Okay, good, he ran. Oh no! the other guy is chasing him! Aaaah! (this goes on for a little while, and without revealing too many secrets I can tell you that our chasee goes through some hard times. A prime example of what we do to kill time, the sludge monster video is about a rather unorganized group of fellows who set out on an adventure in the streets of their hometown, only to find the place overrun with sludge. Intentionally filmed with allowance for multiple meanings, this short film is sort of depressing. Joe stars as the guy, and Kent stars as the other guy, or is he an idea? is he dead? is he death? Choose for yourself. Set to original music by Kent himself, this film is temporarily complete. It was edited on a bad linear system, and will hopefully go through a re-edit (or possibly a re-shoot). Also, some music video footage was filmed and misplaced, but if it reappears we might be looking at a music video too. DECIDE FOR YOURSELF!!!! |

A school project of Joe and Jeremy's, this film was under the sub-Space Dolphin heading "Womp Rat Pictures". The character Joe, played by Joe has to race against time to turn in his school project, the infamous Chase video. Complications arise when the tape is lost and Joe's class is nowhere to be found! Will our hero succeed in not failing? Will we be sued for using totally sweet music without permission? Will Kent's background massacre of Flynn ever stop?

When poor Jeremy tries to enroll, he finds all of his classes filled or unavailable. In his frustration he decides to drive to campus to give all the buildings a good kickin'. And so he does. A film about rage and retarded universities, Jeremy Gerstner calls Kicking Campus "The feel angry movie of the year! Damn!". Ten out of ten Jeremy Gerstners approve and a doctor somewhere might recommend kicking as therapy if they had known about this film. Also in the video, Jeremy brings Kent a sundrop. FUNNY AS SHIT!!!! Proabably filmed more times than anything else we've done, and not nearly as complete as it should be, this project was first filmed with Aaron in the starring role, then with Jeremy. Shot on three types of tape (hi-8, vhs, and s-vhs), this story about a man named James who finds an entire town vacant. He searches to find the truth behind the mystery, and finds.... something. The project is unfinished, but fun to work on. Beginning footage exists, but in all likelyhood will be shot again before the deed is done. I WANNA KNOW MORE!!!! BET YOU CAN'T WAIT!!! |

Okay, so shouldn't a hippie businessman be able to walk home in the dark without fear? If you said "Hell no!" then this flick is right up your alley. With hitherto unseen makeup effects and traditionally stolen music, Unaware brings the supernatural to your doorstep. The original version of thi one had a couple kinks in it, but the final cut displays flawless re-shoots mixed with original footage, along with some great new sound effects. This film is a landmark for SDP, for it was our first entry into a film festival! This film unexpectedly took two of the four possible awards at the CMRA "One Night Stand" Film Fest. We came home with 2nd place and the People's Choice award. The film tells of the struggle of a young man (Zoellner) and his quest to master his powerful magic artifact, which holds great power. And is powerful. The young man is tormented by a bad guy (Smith) who hold his own array of magical items. The film festival allowed only ten hours to complete the peice entirely, which was lessened by driving time from columbia to the berg. Watch to see the chilling ending to the epic struggle. So we were talking about our previous projects and we realized that we really hadn't done any action stuff. We know, you love the old stuff, and you don't want us to drift away from coolness, but don't worry compadres, we're talking Space Dolphin Pictures gives an ass-whooping here. Kent came up with an idea, we began shooting, and right now we're trying to figure out how to keep shooting. Busy schedules, restricted locations, and summertime sojourns have helped to set us back, but we've got a plan of attack and hopefully by fall 2003, SDP will have finished shooting on the action movie and moved into post. BET YOU CAN'T WAIT!!! |
