Ok... how to do this exactly lol.... So the journal isn't quite working out the way I wanted it too... Sorry for the incovience here.. when you get a few days farther in my journal you'll be reading this all agian pero oh well....
So here's what happed today. Not all that much actually.
Amy went & talked to Mrs. Mandara & got permission to go talk to the head mistresses. Tomarrow she's sposed to go talk to Mama Salema about doing a short program w/ std. 6. We're all hoping it works out.
Richard, Dustin & I went around town.. to Chui traders, the store I buy bui bui's at (for some reason I want to call it Medina's pero I know that's not right... it's close though), & the Catholic book store. I found a gorgeous bui bui that I'd like to get (note: a bit of forshadowing here... .I said I'd like not that I will) at that one shop.. what was funny though was the guy that owns it started telling me about myself~ he didn't recognize me becuase my hair's done diff. (& hey it's been 2 yrs) When I told him who I was he got all excited & started speaking Kiswahili really fast to the guy at the sewing machine... & then what really made me happy was at the last shop: I got a "misale ndogo" so that I can know what to say during the Mass lol. (hey it's a little confusing if ya don't speak much of the language!!!)
Oh yeah... can't foget the fact that we managed to see another snake today as well... Dustin nearly stepped on it before Amy saw it. Luckily it'd been run over already.. not quite dead though... Dustin let out a scream that we'll be teasing him about for a while lol. By the time we got back & told Felix, who sent John out to kill it someone else already had. We found out later that it was a lovely black mamba. Joy.
Ok, so maybe I lied... today wasn't so uneventful lol.
