Dear Journal,
Opposites Day - Take two.
& a fun day it was..... So where to begin?
I wasn't the forgetful one today.. Richard forgot his crayons @ the hostel & had to run back & get them before school started. During Eng class we were labling common nouns & when the word teacher came up Nanyika taped the card on me. It was cute.
Drama was where it was really fun though. My kids.. the Orange Tigers... they were a little reserved for some reason. The other kids, however, they seriously got into it.
Back to O.T's - Adam tried to get me to change him from Goliath to King Saul, who only has one line.... Since I let him get away w/ that a couple days before (he looked so sad & he did have the most lines that time, not easy one's either) so I didn't this time. I know he can do it! & of course, he did just fine. I think he's just shy.
Blue Hippo's.... Barbara was halarious when we went over it first... She makes a great Goliath. The kids literally fed off of it. My absolute favorite wa when this little girl - the tiniest in the class - ended up playing Goliath. She hid behind her sheild the whole time! It was so cute.
Red Lizards...Oh my.... They knew what was coming... Came in all excited.. & a bit roudy too. They knew exactly who they wanted to be. It was great! Denis & Gerald were my fav in that group. Everyone rolled.
Other than that.. I got 4 new students in my group... Ahmad, Maryciana, Anthony & Joseph.
After school we ate at Chrisburger (ooo good cheese burgers) & started a book that Amy brought. After supper at the Boldens, Khadijah came over & stayed for devo. Poor thing is upset becuase her mother has cerebrial malaria. We prayed about that inthe devo along w/ some bad news I got the other day about a friend of mine back home's family.
Well, that's about it for now... TTYL
