Wow.. where to start... Yeah, it was one of THOSE days... lol
We got up at 4:30(ish) for Mass... Heath & Barbara went w/ me. It ran a little long this morning too... What was really cool though was that the Mass parts were in Latin!!! (so it was two languages that I only half way understand lol)
After Mass ended we started back towards the bus station to meet Richard... I somehow managed to slip on the road (the one day I'm wearing hiking boots instead of my chanklas) hard.. it HURT... Was still funny though.
Ok. so we meet Richard right... & find out that he'd gotten hit on by a prostitute while he was waiting... or something like that.. wanted to compair prices??? Was odd... (esp. since he was holding his Bible lol)
Caught a dala dala from there... & made our way to Machame. The Lutherine church was interesting... I've never been to one before. Afterwards we went to the Inkias & then the Kwaiu's (I'm not sure about sp) & ate both places... & not just a little food either... I honestly thought for awhile that I'd never want to see food agian lol. Mama Kwaiu (?) was so sweet though, she told us that we're always welcome back & that she's our mama here...
After that.... we caught another dala dala & had the ride of a lifetime.... Can you say 40 people AT LEAST? It was crazy!!! We ended up having to stand for a good ways of the trip, by the door, which of course was OPEN as we went down the MOUNTAIN (note: it's a slope, not steep lol) It was fun... Not that I recomend it lol... No, we did get to sit down finally...
So yeah... today was definately not boring lol.
Well, tomarrow is gonna be buzy & early too... so better get.
