The greatest man-made weapon created. The Death Cigar could deal death to any star system, that stood against the Establishment.
The Death Cigar was created by the top engineers in the Establishment ranks, for the simple purpose of enforcing Emperor Sanitarium's complete control over the galaxy. It was the key weapon in the martial law that gribs the galaxy.
The 1st Death Cigar was a bizarre starship, with enough fire power to destroy an entire planet. The Death Cigar's fire power was first witnessed on the central planet of Pasim, the home of the Pioneer Senate. After the takeover the former senator now captain of the Starship Shamrock Sean gave the order to destroy the planet, signaling the start of the Pioneer Wars.
The Death Cigar saw plenty of action during the Pioneer Wars, destroying the home planet of the Merchant Federation, Super Supreme.
The basis of Establishment attacks were focused around the use of the Death Cigar.
When the Establishment attacked the Confederate base on Duodena, the Death Cigar wasn't deployed. It then became the holding bay for Kari Wuhrer and her unborn child Ewan Nightmare. The Emperor had set a trap to draw the Confederate fleet to attack the Death Cigar.
Secretly they landed elite forces on the Starship and had planned their attack different to what Sanitarium had expected and now the Starship was an easy target, and with the help of two Java Knights the hand maiden and her child were rescued.
The 1st Death Cigar was destroyed in that battle named the Battle on the first Death Cigar.
After it's destruction came the plans for a bigger and better Death Cigar. The Emperor conceived the 2nd Death Cigar as a colossal trap to lead the Confederates into fatal combat, using the false image of vulnerability.
After destroying some of the Rebel fleet it was evenntually destroyed with the Emperor onboard in orbit around Gnome. With it's destruction spelt the end of the dark times of the Establishment and restored peace to the galaxy.
It's plans were destroyed in the vain hope that such a weapon would never be created again.
But it is never sure that all the plans of the Death Cigar were destroyed, some stories have leaked that a ever more destructive Death Cigar 3 is being build. |
