COMMANDER KRAMMER, Krammer is a dauntless tactician, commanding the Rebel assault on the 1st Death Cigar. His strategies have enabled only small fleets of 30 one-man K-wings to annihilate their often huge targets. Krammer remains commander-in-chief of the Confederate forces right until the end.
The Confederacy first came about when the outerrim planets joined together under one name in order to have power within the Pioneer Senate. The planet of Duodena was the strongest of the group of some 100 planet and thus their senator Princess Lilo.
They formed an extremely powerful alliance and their army was a formiable opposition for any army in the galaxy.
During the Pioneer Wars Princess Lilo withdrew her alliance the the Senate. This brought a lot of anger within the party and it pulled the great power apart. Many joined the Establishment and turned against their former alliance.
When Senator Sanitarium declared himself emperor and seized all control destroy the central planet Pasim with the Death Cigar. He then declared the Confederates who failed to side with him "enemies of the new state".
The now Rebel Confederacy were sent on the run, but were able to build an empire on Duodena secretly without the Establishment finding out. However an encounter with the bounty hunter Bib McCool, by Thomas J. Nightmare and Java Knight Bruce Skychannel, lead to the Establishment locating the the secret base.
Once again the Confederacy were sent on the run as the last war of the Pioneer Wars was completed with the takeover of Duodena.
Able to escape the now renamed Rebel Resistance Movement was rebuild with the help of the former League Alliance and Merchant Federation. Build up they prepared to rescue Kari Wuhrer who had been captured, in the siege. Using their special forces group they rescued her with the help of two Java Masters and destroyed the Death Cigar signalling an end of the Establishment's evil rule.
For the next 15 years there was some peace in the galaxy and the Confederacy had build to be a major power, as well as a huge base on the planet Alcazar. However in the shadows the Establishment had build their military force up to a point where in was the largest army in the galaxy. On many occasions the Princess's life was indanger with assassination attempts from bounty hunters, but the Grand army of the Establishment had never been sighted.
Finally the army was discovered on a neighbouring planet Furthest From. Princess Lilo commited her troops to fight the huge army. With the help of the Java they defeated the army of the Establishment, but the Emperor and his Pith Lords survived.
Now the Establishment on the run they were finally destroyed and peace and the new Republic replaced the dark years of the Emperor.
The Confederate forces are split into various roles. There main army the mobile infantry consists of over half their entire forces. The pliots of the K-wings and other fighter craft represent only a few per cent bu they are the best pilots the galaxy has on offer. The rest are split in the flight crews, leaders and scout patrols. The Hothan Spy-net is closely linked with the Rebels and supplies them with useful information on important issues.
Each soldiers carries a standard AG-06 Landot Auto. Blaster (LAB). The Confederation maintains a mobile command centre on board the Marne Kal Headquarters star cruiser.
A good rebel leader can overcome and Establishment numerical advantage with intentive tactics, or finds the words and deeds needed to bring new allies into to fight for freedom.
A legionarie is the highest and morst honourable rank achieved by any soldier. Leaders can rise to high status very quickly.
In the new Republic the Rebel Resistance Movement splits apart and they form a new Senate from new alliances destined on peace and justice for a New Republic |
