CONTINUED FROM THE PAST (by Aileen Gebana-Roeckelein) Caroline SR: thank you for volting in. Siempre, I'm very happy naman to know that you still find time to read and respond to my e-mails. Akala ko kasi laos na si Tita T. Speaking of Teysi Tomas, the real McCoy, she ended her morning talk show friday, to which ang daming mga fans ang nag-iyakan because she won't go on air for a long time (siguro). But, don't worry gehls, your Tita T naman is here to stay. Iba naman kasi ang aking agenda for the May elections. So, ito na ang to-be-continued ng aking unit 1 of recap. Acknowledgement issue na ito. I don't mean to let you cry, but truly, I was -- am still -- overwhelmed over how you gehls were able to put up such a successful program like that and collected a good sum of money for our beneficiaries. I think the latter, we, as Batch 79, should congratulate ourselves for this, ha, di ba? Bilib din ako sa speech mo, during the membership meeting. Can you make a copy of that and publish sa web? Girlie: thank you for your talent in choreographing almost all the dances. Thanks also for your patience and understanding whenever hindi kami sabay-sabay mag-otso-otso, nagiging nueve tuloy. Thanks also for being there last night, as part of my send-off group. Marami pa tayong plans for the future tense, so I will keep in touch. Menchie: as you have texted, hindi man tayo naging classmates the 4 years, at least itong homecoming, we were able to know others better and appreciate their talents, lalo na you, your talent with handling money for and of the batch. Thank you for staying late with us, kahit na low-batt na ako at halos nagkawalaan na tayo sa Manila Pen. Nadine: I'm sure you are also reading this. Thank you for you efforts in the early parts of the organization of this homecoming. Cathy: condolence and I will include him and you in my prayers. You also did a fantastic job! So, now, you can start looking for a job and this time, please lang, magpataba ka ng konti. Paging Cherry, baka kailangan mo ng staff? The dancers: ang galing natin! Couldn't be better. Annette: thank you also for calling up in the middle of the night. I enjoyed our pillow talks, sumingit lang nga si Catherine Grace. Hayaan mo, more chismis to come. You, too, Cora: I know both of you really wanted to come home. Pero, there are really priorities in life na much needed ang inyong attention and care. Rochie and Pola: thanks to you, too, for giving us time. o, gotta go muna for last minute shopping. see you all soon. Tita T Back to top of page Back to Homecoming Page Tita T's Kuwento, Part I |
