Our intention at Spectrum Learning Community is to equip our students with the attitudes and skills to help them do well in school and in life. We also aim to develop a learning community that respects all children as intelligent, sensitive beings. Living, learning, and doing are not separate realities for children, but part of an integrated whole. Therefore we empower children to develop fully in an environment where the uniqueness of each child is honored, and where children experience unconditional acceptance, and developmentally appropriate expectations. We welcome families and children from all backgrounds, and of any race, religion, ethnicity, or nationality; we ask the families ar our school to accept, honor, and celebrate the diversity found on our planet.
