my life so far |
ENB It was while working on ENB - Earth Negotiations Bulletin - that I met many wonderful and interesting people, and made some very good friends. ENB is known as "the Bible" of international negotiations on many environment and development issues. I've been involved with them as a consultant writer, editor and team leader since late 1998. Here's a few photos of just some of the great people I've been lucky enough to work with and get to know in recent years. The Hague, Netherlands, February '99 - at my first meeting as a writer. My laptop broke on Day One, we worked until 2:00 am most nights, and the weather was dire. Ahh, memories. Awesome team, though! (L-R, David, yours truly, Kira, Angela, and the irrepressible Richard "Flashy" Campbell). Beijing, December '99 - the first team to cover the Montreal Protocol negotiations. And a bloody good team it was, too! (L-R Ian, Jo, Chris, Laura, and Andrei). Lyon, France, September 2000 - ahh, the climate change negotiations! (L-R, Lavanya, "supergeek" Andrei, Ian - this time wearing his negotiatior's hat - and Malena). For more pics, click here... |
