About This Library

Items for this collection were selected based upon a review of the literature on the topic of services for special education students in the school library media center. They were chosen based upon their authority and usefulness for the school library media specialist. The range of topics has been selected to give the user a variety of information to enhance the education of all students. Resources include articles and websites that provide information on education, technology, and specific disabilities. Commercial websites were included to assist in locating items needed.

Organization of Collection

Items in this collections have been organized into categories to facilitate browsing by subjects. Hyperlinks have been provided for all entries so that they may be accessed directly.

Resource Collection

Each item in the collection is accompanied by a brief description of the resource. Additional information is provided based upon the short Dublin Core metadata format. The Dublin Core Metadata Editor at http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/dcdot/ was utilized to create many of the records provided.

Access and Use

Items in this collection can be accessed by browsing the subject categories or by conducting a simple keyword search. Use of this digital library is free.
