August 25, 2003: Kim Collins wins the 2003 World Championship 100 metres!

August 17, 2003: Statistics & Surin's races pages updated.

September 20, 2002: Effective today, Bruny Surin and The World's Top Sprinters will no longer be comprehensively updated with the latest news and results in the world of elite sprinting.  Unfortunatly with work and school leaving me little free time, I cannot keep this page as up-to-date as I would like.  I will still be updating the following pages from time-to-time:

Bruny Surin's Races: 1986-2002
Statistics of the World's Top Sprinters

Also, I am leaving all the old contents (stats, new) accessible below.

Thank you visiting and supporting my site -- it has been a BLAST!

Did You Know?

In their only race against eachother, Konstantinos Kederis defeated Maurice Greene in the 200 metres.  Kederis, then an unknown, defeated Greene in the heats of the 1999 World Championships, winning in 20.68 with Greene third in 20.76.  Greene, after winning the 100 earlier in the week, most likely just wanted to get through the first round, which he did as the top three in each heat qualified and he went on to win the World title in 19.90.  Kederis pulled out of the championship in the second round where he was scheduled to face Greene again.
