If you don't yet know what this new series is about, allow me to enlighten you. It takes place in the year 2151, before the Federation, but in the early stages of Starfleet, a human organisation that hasn't yet branched out to other species. Human-Vulcan and Human-Klingon (see episode 1) are strained, but the main enemy are the Suliban, a race that is obsessed with genetic modifications. The show traces some of the trials and tribblation ;) that led to the creation of the United Federation of Planets. All in all, it promises to be a good show, folks.
