The beginning of a new year is always exciting, and for some the beginning of a new school year. My new school year started in September last year as you already know!

On Monday the 26 January my class and Lower Three took a trip to London  where we went to see More Grimm Tales. It was an exciting trip. Unlike most  theatre's The Young Vic Theatre is small and round. We all sat around the stage. We watched performances of: The Hare and the Hedgehog, Rumpelstiltskin, Snow White, Little Red Cap, The Musicians of Bremen and Brother Scamp. These stories are a continuation of Grimm Tales in 1994. All of these fairy tales were collected  by the brothers Grimm. They were performed by other actors and actresses. When you read a fairy tale, it always turns out good in the end or the whole story line has a bady who gets killed. This is not what the Grimm brothers thought. They brought out all the gruesome bits of the tales and I'm not joking but they are gruesome! All their collection of stories were originally meant for grownups and I an see why. It's funny, gruesome, and well performed. I gave a loud long clap to the people who performed it.

Regards to all and love to all my family and friends

Stacey
