My 1970 Mach 1
I would like to take a moment to thank all my friends and family who have helped my family during a very difficult time. On Feb. 10-02 my wife suffered a severe stroke due to major heart complications spending 39 days in the hospital, following up with three weeks of home I.V's. We have had home health doing physical and speech therapy from then till last week 7-03-02. She has mostly recovered from the stroke with just minor weaknesses. She was born with "Tetrology of Fallot" (hole in her heart), along with a few other heart defects, which she has had two open heart surgerys both at early ages in Kansas City, Mo. She got whats called "Endocarditis", (bacterial infection), in her heart which a piece flaked off and went to her left temple lobe, "Subracnoid Hemmorrage", (bleed on the brain) which caused the stroke. She will have to have another surgery to repair the damage to her heart, just not sure of the timing or the magnitude as of yet but we see the heart specialist's every 3 months in St.Louis Mo. She is getting around much better and has good days and bad days. I just wanted to let everyone know where ive been and why i havent put their cars up or responded to many e-mails, and hopefully in time i can get caught up. And last and most inportant i would like to thank "GOD" for everyday I get to spend with my wife, kids, family and friends!!!
