Welcome to the abyss... (and trust me, it's an abyss- or maybe more like a black hole). Anyway, browse around, find out a little bit more about me, or you could just go somewhere else. It's your choice. This is something a personality test said about me that's actually true: You trust those close to you, but have a hard time trusting new people and people you don't know very well. Your beliefs are mostly set, and you have difficulty listening to the demands and opinions of others. You have some close friends, but it's sometimes difficult to find new friends. Name: Cris Age: 24 Gender: Female Sexual Preference: Not that this should be a surprise to anyone, but I'm a lesbian. Location: Planet Earth Birthdate: September 18, 1983 Family: Immediate: Mom and two sisters (One is two and a half years younger, one is seven years older). Extended: A few aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nothing extensive on my mother's side. I don't know most of the people on my father's side of the family, and I like to pretend that I don't know ANY of them. Friends: Some. As it's said in the quizzie above, I find it difficult to make friends. It seems like I'm generally liked by most people, and apparently I have a personality that grows on you... I guess I just don't trust people enough to become friends, and people sense that, or something. Interests: Playing video games (I'm a total addict!), sleeping, hanging out with friends, sleeping, having fun, sleeping, writing, sleeping, reading, sleeping, anime/manga, computer stuff, did I mention sleeping? ; ) Mostly writing and friends, though. What I write: Always fiction; I dabble in different areas like historical fiction, mystery, poetry & prose (occasionally), fantasy, erotica, and others Height: 4' 11", very very short... :) Weight: Heavy Race: Human, maybe... Hair Color: Naturally, a "mousy" medium brown. Eye Color: Greyish-greenish-bluish, depending on my mood and my clothes and whatnot. Religion: I've been an atheist since I was 11, but I'm sort of an atheist/agnostic mix- you figure it out Favorite quote: There's so many, but one of them is "Never knock on Death's door. Ring the doorbell and run. Death hates that." ~Source Unknown Favorite Color: Mostly blue, but I'm also fond of purple and green Favorite Bands: Everclear, Simple Plan, Goo Goo Dolls, Linkin Park, Queen, Theory of a Deadman, 30 Seconds to Mars, Frou Frou, Aerosmith, Creed, Matchbox 20, Alanis Morrissette, Oleander, Vertical Horizon, Sheryl Crow, Usher, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and many, many others. Favorite Food: Chinese- Chicken and Broccoli (Yum!) Favorite Animal: Siberian Tiger; Domestic: your run of the mill housecat Tolerance Level: High. I'm very open minded to people of different races, sexual preferences, religions, philosophies of life, etc. Anything else that you should know: What, besides the fact that I'm insane? Just kidding... sort of :). I'll let you decide about that. I can generally get along with just about anybody, though that doesn't mean I like you. And trust me, you'll know if I don't like you. I hate ignorant people. I'm (obviously) very left-wing to the point of being libertarian. Oh, and I'm a dyke. You have a problem with that, you know where the back button is. I have a sort of obsessive personality. Like... my brain will glomp on a few things at once and decide that it's going to be completely freaking obsessed with said things until further notice. The phase passes, eventually... though there are a few exceptions. I've never gotten over my Harry Potter obsession. I also suspect that I'll never get over my semi-recently acquired anime/manga obsession. For anybody that doesn't know, anime is basically a Japanese cartoon show. Manga is a Japanese comic book. It sounds sort of ridiculous for a full grown adult to be obsessed with cartoons, but they're SO much better than our American ones, have so much more depth and range of emotions and everything. Especially now. Have you seen any cartoons on tv recently? They all suck. No wonder everyone I know is turning to foreign movies and television for entertainment. It's better! That being said... I'm also a HUGE yaoi fangirl. Yaoi... Shounen-ai... Slash... whatever you want to call it, I love stories about two boys in love (yes, with each other!). It's just so unbelievably cute. And HOT, which gets a wee bit confusing considering that I'm not even into guys, but whatever. The pairings I like are as follows: Harry Potter: Harry/Draco (shut up), Sirius/Remus (I've been in love with this one ever since the fire-chat in book 5!), I don't object to Dean/Seamus, though I don't go out looking for it Hikaru No Go: Hikaru/Akira (Regardless of whether the creators will admit it or not, this is a yaoi series. It really is. These two are so obsessed with each other it's not even funny... you know they're totally going to end up living together in a couple of years after the series ends.), I also don't mind Waya/Isumi Prince of Tennis: (Just for the record- this is another gay series, even though they won't actually come out and tell you that. I think all of the Seigaku Regulars are gay except for Taka, Momo [but he's probably bisexual], and MAYBE Ryoma) First and foremost, I absolutely adore Oishi/Eiji. They're so perfect. Tezuka/Fuji comes in as a close second. I can't decide whether I like Inui/Kaidoh or Momo/Kaidoh better, but I like them both. I'll tolerate Momo/Ryoma, but it's not something I go looking for. Same deal with Fuji/Eiji (because that can be REALLY super cute)... I think that's about it. Oh, wait, no. I lied. Shishido/Ootori from Hyotei are adorable. And Mizuki is SO crushing on Yuuta, though I'm not sure how far Yuuta would let him get. And Sanada/Yukimura! ....Uh, yeah, did I mention that I was insane? |
