8/4/06: I can't believe I let almost two years go by without updating this site. Actually, on second thought... considering how much of a pain in the ass this is to update, I'm not really all that surprised. It looks like I might have some decent web access at least *some* of the time now, though, so maybe things will go better... like finally getting that damn research page finished! But I won't hold my breath...
2/13/07: Whoops. I still maintain that this site is WAY too difficult to keep up with. I'm just lazy, really. As a matter of fact- the only reason I'm touching this at all is because I thought I'd check out the site and I discovered that it's a complete disaster area. So... yeah. I'm not going to make any promises about updating this regularly, because I know that I won't end up doing it. Especially while I'm currently trying to download Hikaru No Go manga, which slows down my computer immensely, and makes updating the site even MORE of a pain in the ass. And, of course, the manga is ALL IMPORTANT above all else. Heh. So I'm just going to do a basic clean-up edit for now (so that everything won't be overlapping and running into each other like it was before)... and there's a slight chance I'll remember to look at this later and do some more in depth edits. Like I'm thinking about putting some of my own pictures on the main site here... and getting rid of several of the pages... However. Right now I'm in the middle of a Prince of Tennis fanfic that I really, really want to finish because it is completely amazing and much more interesting than this. Later!
2/14/07: There's a major snow storm out and I have nothing better to do while I wait for my manga and anime to download, so I figured I'd come in here and play with some stuff. First of all, I removed several pages from this site. Trust me... it shouldn't be anything that anyone will miss. The picture pages took AGES to load... I hadn't updated the "recent reads" section in about five years... the writing page was too hard to update because Geocities won't let me copy and paste, so I had to retype everything into the site... and it seems like my dreams and research pages got deleted, so I removed the links to those as well. I also tried putting up my own pictures, though that's been met with limited success since it won't let me resize them. Damn thing. *kicks Geocities* I worked on the About Me page and fixed some things. Next on the to do list is the links page, since probably at least half of those links don't even work anymore, but I'll save that for another day.
3/3/07: Minor edit: I finally was able to resize pictures so that I could put them on the site, so as of right now, all photos on this site are mine. No stealing, please! If you want to use anything, there's a link to e-mail me up there somewhere *points upward*- ask! I'm really too sick to deal with this anymore today... I was thinking about putting up a page for my Hikago fic, but then realized that a) There was a REASON I deleted my writing page, b) The entirety of "All That Matters" wouldn't fit on there anyway unless I made the text REALLY small (and there's really no place to split it into parts, either), and c)I have a link to my damn writing journal up there, if anybody's really THAT curious. Luckily for me, I didn't spend a whole lot of time fooling around with it before I figured that out ^_^ |
