The Past

Starfire Collies began in 1989 with the purchase of a rough sable bitch from Tom and Sharon Frampton of Natural Collies. She was Natural's Heaven Sent, HC,TT and her call name was Angel. Although she never finished, she was a true collie in heart and soul. Natural's Midnight Starfire, HC,TT, a tri rough named Twinkle, was my second collie and my soulmate. There will surely never be another one quite like her. Some dogs just touch your heart and never let go, she was one of them...

After attending the American Smooth Collie Convention in Virginia with Sharon Frampton and Pat Lessard, I was hooked on smooth collies. At that time, Pat {from the famous Storm Collies} had a litter sired by CH Natural Explosion {multiple BISS, Group Placer} out of CH Crossheart's Camlin Caper and I purchased a tri smooth bitch. She was known as Storm's Enchanted Starfire, HC,TT {Chelsea}. Although she never finished, she had a beautiful headpiece and outline that were carried on in her puppies. CH Storm's Jan Cin Starfire, HC,TT was my next smooth. Blazer was a handsome sable boy and I quickly finished his championship.
