"Only I can use it, so there's no danger involved," he explained with a grin. "...And I give you my word that this is no trick," he added, as he noticed that the look on her face had darkened.

"Fine," she said, putting it on and inspecting it. "I'd better be going as well. I've got to be getting ready, ye - you see. Daggers need sharpening," she added, flipping one of them out of her sleeve.

Ahn highly doubted this, knowing that she kept her weapons in top condition, and figured that it must be a none too subtle reminder of that time when she had gotten him out of yet another mess. He still had the scars from that one...

"Ye be hurrying with that business of yers," she declared, rising from her seat.

"Yeah, don't worry." he muttered.

As Sola walked past the bar on her way to the door, chuckling as she replaced the dagger in he sleeve and handing the bar-maid her empty glass, Ahn once again took out his letter.

"Yes, brother," he wrote. "Humans certainly are interesting..."
