Wandering through life, and feeling all alone,
then you came along and that was all gone.
You had more faith in me, then I had ever known,
you have touched my heart, it's love that's grown.
You believed in me like no one had ever done,
I thought life was over, to find, it had only just begun.
We built a dear friendship that grew to something more,
never knowing such love, and unafraid to open the door.
You brought a new hope, that my life had never known,
for now I knew what it meant, to call somewhere home.
You gave me the strength to get through a rough day,
whenever I got lost, you were there to find my way.
You gave me the power, to again stand and fight,
you were there at night, to hold me, ever so tight.
You were there to calm the darkest of my fears,
you also wiped away the saddest of my tears.
You touched more then my heart, you touched my soul,
always being ther for me, was your greatest goal.
You made me feel, like I had never felt before,
you touched me all the way down, deep into my core.
I don't always remember to stop and say "Thank You,"
hoping that in your heart, you always know that I do.
Some words are left unspoken, never before being said,
not really missing, nor are they gone, never becoming dead.
Always right there on the tip of your tongue,
building on the love, that we've only just begun.
You helped give me the wings to again fly free,
because you are always there, You Believed In Me.

Each day full of passion and dreams not yet known,
but through knowing you, I know, I have grown.
The luckiest day I know, is the day that I met you,
together, there is nothing we couldn't get through.
You were my saviour, my life's new breath,
knowing I'd love you forever, even after death.
You were the treasure that my life had lacked,
there's a new future ahead, no time to look back.
A dream now worth chasing, a new life we are making,
never again knowing sorrow, or a heart breaking.
Each night I thank my lucky stars high above,
for the most precious gift given, the gift of our love.
I love you more with each breath I take,
I thank God for you, Every Day I Awake.

In the darkness is where despair hides,
in the back of your mind it abides.
When will I find the light of hope,
to end this suffering and begin to cope.
Lost in the darkness with no end in sight,
but in my heart, I know I must fight.
This is my life, my existence, my being,
there is more out there then what I am seeing.
I must build up my courage and all my strength,
no matter the measure, no matter to what length.
The light of the future is what my heart is seeking,
the darkness of despair, I am no longer keeping.
For hopes and dreams to have a chance to survive,
my heart and mind must once again come alive.
My heart is again full of light and is beaming,
the darkness has passed, and has little meaning.
I will always remember the darkess as I cope,
but once again my life is full of so my Hope.
