Darth Vader and the Empire are building a new, indestructible Death Star. Meanwhile, Han Solo is a prisoner of Jabba the Hutt. Luke Skywalker, completed his training and is now a Jedi Knight, has sent R2D2 and C3PO to Jabba the Hutt as a gift in hope of freeing Han. Princess Leia ,disguised as a bounty hunter, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian are all in Jabba’s palace waiting for Luke’s signal to free Han. Taken aboard Jabba’s yacht, Luke with his laser sword destroys Jabba and frees Han.
The Rebels mass their forces to once again try and destroy the Death Star, however the shields need to be brought down. Han & Leia attempt to do this on the Moon of Endor but are meet by the Empire’s troops.
Meanwhile, Luke knows that the Rebel’s only hope is for him to face Darth Vader once again. He feels that his father still has good in him and tries to convince him to return to the good side of the ‘Force’.
The Emperor believes with Luke in his clutches he will have total control of the galaxy---if only he and Darth Vader can turn Luke to the ‘Dark Side’. Luke battles Darth Vader once again, wounding him severely, only to have to face the Emperor himself. While the Emperor throws bolts of lightning at Luke, Darth Vader comes to Luke’s rescue and destroys the Emperor.
Luke has help Darth Varder to cross over again to the good side of the ‘Force’ and the Rebels destroyed the Death Star once and for all. The Galaxy is safe and free at last!
