covering many different geographical areas or regions.
These regions may include only one
or several different provinces.
The regions of Canada are
The Atlantic Region,
Central Canada,
The Prairie Provinces,
The West Coast
and
The North.

The capital of Canada is Ottawa, Ontario.

Canadian Provinces and Territories

Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories,
each with its own capital city. (in brackets)
(Provinces with the map beside them are the ones
I have lived in, and the only ones that have a link with some info.)

Canada's Population as of 2005 was 32,270,500.

The creation of a new territory called Nunavut
("Our Land" in Inuktitut).
The Nunavut government, came into being April 1, 1999,
it represent all residents of the new territory,
Inuit and non-Inuit alike.

Canada has more donut shops per capita than the United States does.
Canada's national animal is the beaver.
Canada's two official sports are lacrosse and hockey.
Canada's national colours are red and white.
Canadians consume more Kraft Dinner (aka Kraft Macaroni & Cheese)
per capita than any other nationality on earth.
