Carlsbad Caverns
On Sunday, March 11th in the year 2001, The Adventure Group visited Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. The following is their pictorial account and written report of that experience.

The road to Carlsbad Caverns. The entrance to Carlsbad Caverns, which takes you over 800 feet below ground. The winding path down to the caverns The ampitheater where people gather during the warmer months to watch the 100,000 bats emerge from the caverns at dusk.
The last view of natural light we saw for about 2 hours. This formation was called Finger Rock because it resembled a pointer finger. A column formed by dripping water containing small particles of material.
