Pennsylvania's Mount Davis     3,213 feet     Rank, 33rd     Short walk to the summit from the summitVermont's Mount Mansfield     4,393 feet     Rank, 26th     Moderate to Semi-Strenuous Climb from base to summit.  A road will take you close to the top, or a gondola will carry you up as well.  Both cost money and we recommend the climb.Tennessee's Clingman's Dome     6,643 feet     Rank, 17th     We were thwarted in our first attempt at this highpoint due to bad weather and a closed access road.  The road is only open during warmer months.Georgia's Brasstown Bald     4,784 feet     Rank, 25th     Mild hike up to the summit from the parking lot.  A van will drive you to the top during the warmer months for a small fee.South Carolina's Sassafras Mountain     3,560 feet     Rank, 29th     Short Walk from the parking lot to the summitNorth Carolina's Mount Mitchell     6,684 feet     Rank, 16th     Short walk from the parking lot to the summit.
