The Royal Gorge Bridge
On Thursday, March 15th in the year 2001, The Adventure Group visited the Royal Gorge in Colorado. The following is their pictorial account and written report of that experience.

The tension cable that supports the bridge Eric walking across the wooden planks on the bridge after being passed by a car. Standing on the bridge looking across. A view of the bridge from the opposite side. Another view of the bridge from the far end.
Looking up at the bridge from 1000 feet below. A view of the bridge from the cable car. A view of the bridge from the main side. The Royal Gorge and the bridge that spans it. The wooden bridge has gaps through which you can look down and see the river below.
The information sign for the gorge. The cable car that we rode across the gorge. Eric and Chris resting on the wall of the observation tower. Chris and Scott by the clocks at the entrance of the park. The Arkansas River which is spanned by the bridge.
The steepest incline railroad in the world which we rode down to the gorge basin. Looking back on the rail from the back car. A final look at the Royal Gorge and the surrounding mountains of Colorado.
